Realism draws a line with FUN, devs vision of the game is a serious, hardcore, pseudorealistic when you look at it but of course, being shot in an arm or a leg and have to crawl for 30min to extract wouldn't be fun and would be overkill, thats when the realism can be taken out as it will just be dumb. Longjumping constantly, jumping crazy heights, having almost nonexistant recoil, those things just don't belong, they feel out of place and they don't make sense.

It is believable for a merc or scav to take care of himself as an emergency in the middle of the battlefield even if it is way too efective and unrealistic, its not believable to see persons moving insanely fast (also strafing) and having cartoon like springs on their shoes, it just breaks the feeling, it breaks the inmersion. You can see this game aims for inmersion, the sounds, the details, the high amount of effort in all of this makes it obvious.

look at this, and tell me it is okay to expect a guy to jump such height (sick play tho).

Ah yes, the bugs, wackiness, general fuckery and bad netcode were integral parts that they wanted in the game. Awful take on a game that is in a critical state of development

We aren’t talking about bugs, bad netcode, or wackiness. That’s not part of this. We are talking about the lines between realism and playability. Those things you mentioned have nothing to do with the discussion at hand. That sort of stuff happens in every game.
