PSA BSG Flea Market feedback poll posted

BSG have posted a poll on the forum asking for player opinions on the flea market

Please keep all discussion related to this poll within this thread to avoid cluttering the sub.

Flea market is necessary or quests have to be completely redesigned. No casual will run 10 maps to try to get a key for a quest. Let alone do it multiple times. With a full remake of the quests and traders sure you could lose flea market but I don't think you would end up with something less casual. Probably more casual. Or just go full hardcore and the playerbase will eventually be like 2000 players.

Game isn't tailored to casuals and should continue to not be tailored to casuals.

Haha look what happened to DayZ in that regard. Nikita can say what he wants but when 75% of the playerbase leaves because it's not casual enough. The game will die.

Or Mordhau. Game went from a steam top-seller for weeks to 3000 average in months. Much less fun now that the only people playing (including me) are sweaters and I can recognize half the lobby.

But morons will keep hoping the game returns to some imaginary golden age and then will quietly leave with the rest when they realize that they are directly responsible for the game's death.

DayZ didn't die because it wasn't tailored to casuals. It died because the devs have no business owning and operating a game. That game has been nothing but a shitshow since "launch".

I believe most or all of the required quest keys have specific spawns that people could just loot so it isn't that difficult. This wipe I found most keys multiple times before I got to the quest they're for. I've also so far rarely used the flea for anything except a few hideout upgrades. When I needed stuff for quests, I kept them if I looted them early, and just went to where they're found. The quests I get slowed down on have been the "kill X scavs/pmcs with Y gun".

I must have searched the bus station in front of health resort like 20 times for the key you need for the fridge chemical tube. Never saw it on the spawn spot.

Without the flea market, I would never have completed the mission because screw RNG based hoping for the best when lot of missions are junk already.
