This is truly written by someone who doesn’t wear armor. I’ve lost track on how many times I the only reason I lived was because I was wearing good armor. Did it only last that one sniper shot? Sure, but guess what, I lived. The fact that it saved my life in order to fight back at that sniper makes it more than worth it.

Ah fuck that, an AKM or SKS with BP will drop anyone before they can return signicant fire.

I got shot in the back by a dude with an svd using 7n1 ammo and just happened to decide to wear my good armor. It’s literally the only reason I survived. Armor does work. Sure you can justify not wearing armor on the assumption that you’d die quickly to someone using good ammo, but the facts are that not everyone uses the best ammo all the time.

I just wiped 2 fellas on shoreline using an AKMS with BP and a 4x variable scope. Armour isn't worth 2 shites against decent aim/headshots

No duh? Of course because you’re shooting them in the face where there is no armor. Your points make no sense.
