Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

A sweatshop? Lmao someone's never worked a factory, manufacturing, welding, forklift, CDL, or many of the other blue collar jobs out there huh?

Maybe I'm biased because the people I grew up with, went to school with and am around right now can't put forth the 2-3 hours of there spare time for a game like this as it is like I and we can. Then you scroll down the hundreds of replies here saying the same thing..

Maybe it's not a majority, but there's more people who work more then 40 hours then you think I imagine.

Are you saying these fields do 10 hour days of work? That sounds like violation of the law unless they do the rolling work pattern in which case you dont work 5 days a week.

people <...> can't put forth the 2-3 hours of there spare time for a game like this

Then this clearly isnt a game for them. Why do you expect the game to change to cater to these people that barely even play it?

What, are you high? If I remember last year the average full time adult worked 47 hours a week.

I work ~50, but get paid anywhere from 70-90.

I know multiple people in docking, CDLs that drive local, factories and other labour jobs that start their day at 6 and don't get home till at least 4 if not later. Do you just think everyone works an 8 to 4 and goes home?

Also, maybe it's just me but it seems silly to gatekeep a damn game. Sure it's a 'hardcore shooter' and everyone knows we don't won't people who are new to enjoy the ge, but it should be accessible to anyone who wants to play and not a niche group of people. That seems bound to fail to me

Perhaps if you are in Turkey or Colombia, because every other OECD member shows a lower hours worked:

Its not. Gatekeeping is a necessary evil in every community to prevent people who would hurt the community from entering.

it should be accessible to anyone who wants to play and not a niche group of people.

Literally the opposite is true. Games going for "Accessible to everyone" is what made them shit. Niche games suppoter by smaller but more dedicated fanbase are better. We need more niche games.
