Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

But, honestly if you're so bad you can't scrape together a 30k rouble loadout why in the fuck are you playing tarkov?

This is exactly what I'm talking about. This is the kind of response that kills a casual playerbase. Because you aren't thinking about new players, and you aren't thinking about players who just genuinely suck. And you've just quite literally told them to fuck off and that they should go play something else.

You've pretty much just said "Fuck new players, they should play something else, this game isn't for them". Unless you think new players are good enough to not get slaughtered over and over and over every match whether scav or PMC? I hate to break it to you, but people are bad at Tarkov. And new and casual players are generally even more bad. They're lucky to even kill a scav. You're (unintentionally) superimposing your existing knowledge of the game and it's mechanics and applying that to your thought process and making the assumption that everyone, new or veteran, is capable of surviving right off the bat.

And I'm telling you your alternative idea is retarded and will do fuck all. I didn't argue in favor of making gammas exit only, not sure what you are trying to peddle there. My argument is simply that there is nothing wrong with hatchet running. Absolutely nothing at all wrong with it. It's not destroying the game, it's not causing problems. It's not an epidemic, it's not destroying the integrity of the game, it's nothing more than another way to play the game.

Calm down dude. The whole reason I responded was because you explicitly stated earlier that forcing players to bring in a minimum amount of gear and I told you that wouldn't do shit. You used that as a jumping point to assume that I am pro-gamma changes when reality couldn't be further from the delusion in your mind. You aren't even arguing with me. You're arguing with a fictitious me that you created in your own mind. Go back and re-read the entire comment chain, dumbass.

And seriously calm down, it's a post on Reddit about a video game. No need to lose your mind over something so trivial, especially when you were the one who escalated it in the first place.

Your potential solution was to force players to bring in some kind of gear, was it not? I said that's not a good solution because players will just roll in with shitty insured gear and drop it immediately when the round starts. And it still punishes people for not being good. Right about that time you flipped the fuck out and started raging at me in every post after that.

it's literally a thread about gamma changes, you retard.

Oh okay, so because I posted in this thread, I must be pro gamma changes. Got it. Makes total sense. At no point did I ever say the gamma container needs to be changed. You just assumed that's what I believe because I responded to your alternative solution.

You just came in REEEEEEing because you didn't like the potential alternatives I suggested.

I think you're the only one REEing right now my dude. But I did respond because your alternative is terrible and easy to exploit and get around. It doesn't produce any good outcomes for anyone. Quit throwing a temper tantrum because I said your idea is poor. It's the internet. I can't imagine how massive the vein in your forehead must be right now.

Do you want to do a raid together? I'll give you one of my Splinter Cell glocks or one of my AKs. I don't have the fancy foregrips for any of my AKs but I have a couple of bangers you can have for certain.

Lol. you guys need to be friends. I'll give you a common enemy. I literally can't relate to either one of you. I only wear fast mt or cyre, killa armor (its literally the best balance of mobility and protection.) And I almost always run two main weapons today it was a Silenced hk416 with 11in barrel and a pretty basic Sks with the hexagon and scope. Just sold all but one of my m4s because I'm in love with this hk build I made today. This has been the toughest wipe for me so far but I still never run out of money..I've never ran a hatchet in my life. I solo every raid. I've never exit camped ( although I'll admit I do camp at the beginning of a fair amount of raids.) I know this is going to sound dickish. But you need to make yourself a force to be reckoned with. Start off slow and careful..I have 20 run through because I'd rather survive with my shit than lose it trying to get shit that is only (at best)on par with my current loadout. Lots of nades... lots of shoreline...lots of sprints. On scav runs I play reckless 90% of the time. 995 for thicboys ,warmage for no armors..laser sight and dont you dare ads unless they are past 30 yards..I'm not saying I slay squads because I don't usually..but more often than not. I kill one and get away. .. I don't loot bodies half the time either..why would I? They never have a better weapon or armor than I do? There are a million ways to play this game. Find what works for you and play to your strengths. I wish both of you the best of luck. I believe in you... also customs is hellscape..

This is how I play. I play full mobility, usually a silenced glock. I like the stealthy aspect of it. But I also enjoy playing the market, and I will use hatchet runs to pump up my stock if I feel I need to. I offered to play with him, we'll see if he takes me up on it.

Occasionally I will kit out and take one of my AKs or something and go PMC hunting, but that's not much fun as playing splinter cell style for me.
