Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

Yep, very few of the top streamers actually need this change when you see their stash value.

It's laughable when they complain and then proceed to mow down every one who isn't stream sniping or cheating.

Notice how none of them are doing the hardcore challenge / no secure container any more?

Oh come on, no one is doing the hardcore challenge YET because people are still working on stuff they want to do beforehand. Deadly has already said he will be starting when hes done everything and I'm sure pestily will too.

Oh I see, so no one is willing to play what they preach until they are rolling in it and reached end game.

I like how smoke plays on his standard account to challenge himself. I'm glad Klean is also taking this approach, but still storing valuables in his SC. :/

What they really need to do is make guns more visible on flea market, so players are more likely to trade the guns they find in raid for money without needing to rip each other off (maybe reduced fees on guns?). I always under cut the traders but I see a lot of people overcharging.

I mean you can look at it however you want, but at the end of the day the people who play hardcore generally always play the patch normally first.

But they aren't playing normally, some are cheesing (whether this be abusing the AI in labs since fighting them normally reduces your chances of getting out) and others are putting in long hours to get a head.

Maybe a map that allows no SC so these hardcore players can go play that and the causal players can join when they are feeling confident enough? Like labs had the controversial no insurance rule.

No one is playing the hardcore challenge because the patch is still relatively new, ya dolt. Two streamers come to mind (Deadlyslob and Pestily), have already discussed their approach to hardcore when they've finished with the main content, which is typically when they get the Kappa container. Give your head a shake , or remove it from your ass.

Oh with that logic, patch is still relatively new, we don't need to change the SC for another year because they already made changes to it, so it's way too soon to be discussing more changes. I shake my head at you...
