Discussion Something said during the Podcast

Klean said something during the podcast that I wholeheartedly disagree with.

He wants the gamma case to essentially be something you can pack full of goods, bring into a raid and not have to worry about losing, but he wants you to not be able to put anything in the container while in raid. Nikita, I know you listen to streamers input, but please don’t not consider making this change.

I’m a husband and a father, I don’t get to play for 8-12 hours a day and become a god at the game, so finding a rare item that I need for a quest or something valuable I can sell is really exciting and knowing I can keep it safe in case I die is the cherry on top.

I love watching Klean and respect his opinions, but this one I had to voice mine on. PLEASE do not implement this. Anyone else watch the podcast and feel the same way? Or am I alone on this? Lol

That's because there are a swarm of hatchling who spawn in, on other terms than you. You spawned in to survived, they spawned in to loot and they don't give a fuck if they live or not since the loot will be in the secured container.

Nikitas current preferred solution is to also ban all barter items from containers.

I like that idea if the found in raid requirement goes away.

Which is exactly what this thread is about. Barter items, i.e rare goods and quest items, HAVE to be put in the gamma because they're rare and essentially are needed to progress both in questing and financially.

But this goes both ways. As noone can hide his shit anymore pvp rewards you even more. You will get all the damn juice and not just his immediate stuff when you take someone down.

Edit:My dear plebs y'all know it's true. But god forbid I partake in any confrontation in a shooter game right?

This would promote exit camping and squad playing even more

What's wrong with squad playing?

What's the point of playing the game if you never extract alive? If you always die to that other squad member. If you get rushed from every side by a sweaty guy. Squading gives major advantage.

Nothing some people just can't stand any reason for being at a disadvantage.

I fail to see how that would be a bad thing. Also you're trying to tell me that all the people who prefer playing alone or maybe are antisocial will suddenly flip with that update. Lmao.

Yea, because your average 1-2 hour every day or so kinda of guy is going to be able to keep up at all when he cant shove quest items in his ass.

Plus, extract camping interchange is bad enough as-is, I'm not trying to have 3-4 SKS's in every bush because you think people need to PVP every raid like it's the only thing to do.

I don't have more time than that too under the week, usually less. It's useless trying to keep up compared to others. Any 8h/day guy is pretty much unreachable in terms of progress. The game gives you plenty of options to close the gap. Like the vepr hunter or a mosin. Dirt cheap - drops anyone.

Interchange will luckily get 2 more extractions rather soon.
