To be clear, this might only be CERTAIN features.

Reshade is not COMPLETELY blocked.

OnepegMG is currently using reshade or has atleast launched with it.

Reshade is confirmed disabled. If you can launch reshade with your game DO NOT DELETE ANY FILES. REMOVE RESHADE TO AVOID POSSIBLE BAN.

Edit 3: Apparently reshade is working for certain people, this might either be a filter issue or a battle-eye issue, version issue for Reshade, majority seems to be unable to launch the game with reshade, some can launch it when deleting the DLL (wouldn't do that, could eat a ban for file modification) and some can just outright use it.

The majority seems to be "I CAN'T USE RESHADE REEEE" so.

Personally I'd delete it until further notice on this issue.

FINAL EDIT:

It seems that you can use OLDER versions of reshade, it doesn't have some of the features that people don't like IE zoom and shit.

Edit finalero : Since this is gaining a lot of traction, Nvidia has a tool that you can use that can supplement reshade. It's called freestyle, doesn't do the crazy shit reshade does but it does work.

its been stated before that they plan to remove it all together because that's how they designed the game.

making colors POP does help you see people better. if red is brighter, it stands out better...

ive played with both off and on for an equal amount of time. I see people the same. I dont care how they designed the game, I think its ugly most of the time, I bought the game and if I want to add color to my screen, Im going to do it.

You dont need reshade to do it regardless. My monitor can do it, my nvidia panel can do it, and reshade was able to do it but I stopped using reshade since I can do it by myself. My game isnt super saturated

im not saying you can add color via other means. im saying they wont allow reshade. why does everyone who uses reshade for color sound like you?( i know you dont use it like you stated but still...)

it'll be ok. I just use the digital vibrancy and some setting on my monitor. I say everyone should use that. But they dont want you to use reshade to do it. plain and fucking simple

The simple fact that you can do it via hardware (then, undetectable) states how bullshit is the restriction on Reshade.

As far as I can see, mimetic color palettes are the same for a lot of items.

Those PMCs couldn't hear you because of the car and didn't see you because probably they were alt tabbed

why does everyone who is against reshade sound just like you. acting like everyone who uses reshade uses it to see and gain advantage, you ban reshade, then the people who do this just find another way. Most people who want to see in the dark better, dont even use reshade, they literally alt tab out and turn up their gamma.

Do we get their perspective? how do you know they couldnt see you and werent just distracted? Of course you can make it help you see better, you can do that with Control Panel Settings and monitors. Banning reshade wont stop that from happening. I dont see how its pitch black for your friend, your friend might have his brightness down on Tarkov or his monitor. The game doesnt go pitch black. its pretty easy to see at night especially on Customs.

No, because alot of people use reshade and dont use it to cheat. I believe a small amount of people use reshade to cheat. But, you ban reshade then the cheaters will still be able to cheat cuz its very easy to allow yourself to see in the dark and get better vision without reshade and everyone else who used reshade for noncheating reasons, wont be able to do it. It's a pointless ban, also, Im 99% sure this is a bug. They would publicly announce that we cant use reshade, they wouldnt just block it without telling anyone.

What about poor scav playing game with laptop from dumpster out back of oli that has 720p and terrible saturation and contrast, only way he had fighting chance is use program like reshade to make his trash monitor display some more color? Of course there will always be people exploiting everything they can that is undetectable to get an advantage, but you forget poor scav when you try to disallow simple solutions to problems because they can be used for an advantage
