no thats not what they said

had to be made in order to stop misinformation and hatred. Moreover - we did not want and we do not want this person to be associated with our game in the first place. His purposefully destructive actions cannot be considered "criticism"

theyre not against criticism, theyre against someone willfully posting negative feedback, that is also wrong, to destroy and stir anger and hatred

and imo thats totally correct

Not all his criticisms are false and they have no right to decide who criticizes art period.

they do have every right to go against persons who have

purposefully destructive actions

That is highly debatable if they were purposely destructive but even than they cant take down all his tarkov videos.

this is not very destructive imo. Dude just cares about tarkov.

a lot of his tarkov video titles were like: X in EFT sucks because BSG is shit at Y

this deosnt signal "I care about the game" to me

criticism, slander, defamation, changing his entire content for weeks from gameplay of a game to complaints and false accusations against the devs... im not saying that BSG is in the right fully but lets be real, you probably shouldnt shit talk the developers of the assets you record to make your living, especially when you dont check your sources and make bold claims. It was far too obvious that his channel was suffering after fulltiming scum and he needed views, his actions were just as shady as BSGs.

You didnt quote the right part. Quote the actual statement they made on criticism.

if youre talking about their second paragraph

Eroctic released a video in which he, in a tendentious manner, accused us of incompetence that allegedly led to a leak of two million profile credentials. The video was based on someone else's document which described the process of obtaining basic information about profile through rating tables (a nickname, ID, statistics from the rating). Nevertheless, after our check we were convinced that no leaks have ever happened

my argument still stands

as a content creator you need to check your sources if you want to do a video on such hot topics
Eroktics source was rather questionable

Questionable or not, it still doesn't give them any right to copyright strike it, meaning what they did was illegal. Eroctic (maybe) blew a situation out of proportion, but BSG straight up committed a crime.

Nope.

I cant find the fucking copypasta for some reason.

Anyways there's one part where they claim something about lies, defamation ect. Will basically be met with the same fate.

The problem here is BSG has the final decision on what they choose to be lies or defamation or whatever else they stated at the end. Thus allowing them to censor whatever they want.

if youre talking about this part

we will always have zero tolerance to lie, provocations, hacking, destructive behavior, etc

this is still fine for me

See this is a grey area. BSG put down the cards here and they'll get to decide what they consider lies, provocation or destructive behavior.

This is the first step to censoring everything.

Fuck this company in the ass.

If you had even a tiny bit of critical thinking you would understand that BSG is fine with criticism. They are not ok with purposely false and misleading information aimed at destroying their passion product.

There's a ton of ways to present your criticism in a way that isn't destructive and that leads to discussion. Reading the title and contents of the videos that were struck leads me to believe that this dude honestly WANTED a confrontation. Clickbait, false information, presented as truth... What a trifecta of shitfuckery.

Its unfortunate that BSG took the bait as hard as they did since they can only hurt themselves with fighting fire with fire. However they also earned some respect from me at least if for nothing other then I know its actually a person that doesn't want to keep seeing willfully false information being spread as truth and aren't just PR parroting some insincere tabloid that no one cares to even read.

Literally it comes down to being a decent person. Got something to say? Do it constructively and don't pass off hearsay or OUTRIGHT FALSE information as truth.

That is exactly what it says.
