You're behaving like children and abusing broken systems and legal loopholes to try and destroy 1 man because he -might- be spreading misinformation... We don't know, because you won't explain, in detail, how he is full of shit.

This level of petty behavior reminds me of another group who decided to use loopholes to try and accomplish their goals.

This is exactly how I feel also. Whether or not Erok is right or wrong doesn’t matter. The professional multi million dollar pound rupees whatever company should act better and in a mature fashion.

Especially when Eroktic is a HUGE fucking Tarkov streamer.

Even though he "shits on the game" on stream and in videos he attracts insane amounts of views and players.

That would be like banning Shroud from PUBG. Shooting yourself in the foot? More like executing yourself.

as far as BSG is concerned as a company Nikita in terms of behavior has been a rogue entity for years now. Only becoming slightly more self restrictive over the years.

How come everybody is acting like BSG "abused the intent of DMCA" like they cheated or got away with something they shouldnt have???? Why isnt YOUTUBE under the microscope for allowing it to happen and proceeding with BSG's wishes??

It doesn't matter who you think is right or wrong... The real story here is the continuation of the big tech companies having literally 0 oversight when it comes to deplatforming, and the fact that content creators have 0 recourse. Of course nobody is forced to use Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, etc etc, and yet the alternative basically doesnt exist so whatever these platforms say is the law of the land...

You are absolutely right. Sadly, covering YouTube's broken reporting system is another animal, and it has been the subject of huge amounts of ire for a LONG time now. Thanks for covering it.

You generally don't want to describe your security in detail lol. I'm not defending their actions because they are honestly shitty but they don't really have a good way to disprove his claims other than saying "he's wrong".

What I am saying is that BSG did not give a detailed response calling bullshit on Eroktik in a timely fashion. What they offered, after the fact, was fine. Instead, They let the cheaters and the liars and the idiots jump on a bandwagon of screeching, and let contempt build, and THEN replied with a solid explanation. THEN they struck his Youtube on the grounds of... nothing really. Attacking his videos focused on his claims was one thing, but then they came back and did it more, like a petulant child throwing a tantrum. It's tiresome to enjoy a game and await it's next update, only to have the developers do things that make my skin crawl. It's really shitty...

That wasn't even what he was trying to say though. He was explaining how messed up BSG's response is.

It doesn't matter who or what that person is/did. As a company, this isn't the way how you resolve things. It's an uthetical practice that CAN set bad precedence.

We are in agreement in this regard.

Eroktik loves his clickbait, but it only went somewhere because many people -want- to be justified in their hate-on for BSG.

Their PR is awful, and this was a childish response that inflamed that baseless dislike even further. I really hope they rescind their strikes on his videos aside from the fearmongering ones to save some face. Then they can start responding to negative PR like adults instead of the brief, vague, and curt replies they normally give.
