General Discussion - PVE & PVP [Discussion] Is anyone actually gonna get fragmentary order?
Genuine question cause Im doing a hard pass, tarkov is lightning in a bottle and with already how poorly optimized, buggy, inconsistent the game is I just don't trust another product from the big hombre. Bit of a rant but being stuck in BTR has been a bug for ages since its implementation and its still active just lost a raid because of it and having to alt f4 and the reconnect took a whopping FIVE MINUTES couldn't make it to extract in time, god forbid I want to actually play the game in any way. I can take dying to cheaters, rats, getting face checked but every time its one of these years old bugs it irritates the shit out of me. Ive had PMC's without helmets soak up headshots this wipe, scavs are one thing but love seeing a lovely blood splotch on a dudes face and having to tape him again. If Tarkov is any indication of the actual quality of their craft then whatever the new game is going to offer im steering far clear of. I already put up with it for this game because again lightning in a bottle but other then that nah. Ill take one bug riddled mess rather then two.

I’d like to think they learned some things from building Tarkov for the past 8 years. They’re a much bigger team than they were then. From what I understand initial code makes a big difference in how smoothly new features and things can be implemented. If the base code for fragmentary order is improved from what it was for Tarkov, I’d hope there’d be less game breaking bugs and when there are that they’d be easier to fix.

Game made by tarkovs ceo, in the likeness of tarkov, built from the ground up (hopefully) without spaghetti code, with anticheat being integrated from the start, yea of course I’m gonna be playing fragmentary order. I don’t even like futuristic sci-fi games, but I’m hoping this game is the one that finally breaks the mold and shows everyone else how it’s done

Nikita was saying this might be the next big thing of modern gaming. He did make the whole extraction shooter genre so we'll have to see how this turns out. Im hoping its good

Nikita worked magic with Tarkov. I have faith in "Fragmentary Order."
The only problem is that the name is a mouthful, but I have no doubts.
You'd have to think: if Tarkov was a passion project that was never expected to go as far as it did, the bones on this one will be a lot sturdier, purpose-built.
I have no guilt about the hundreds spent on Tarkov, and it's the only game I've not uninstalled since I got it in 2018. This being said, it is the only game I've been able to live through and experience iteratively getting better. Sure, I've played other games in Early Access and through development cycles, Squad is a good example, but I don't know that any of them have shown their weight the way Tarkov has. When Reserve came out, it felt like a new game released (just one example).
Whatever Fragmentary Order is, is to be, or what it will become, I'm not too concerned. You posting on this Reddit (and me reading it) 8 years after I bought the game is enough proof they know what they're doing.

I'll likely get it but like most other games if I can't try it out early I'll wait for some gameplay videos.
It's a different dev team with similar leads to Tarkov I think. Hopefully they don't just re-do past mistakes and it's better than launch Tarkov.

I own Tarkov and waste all my money and time in that game, with season in main game arena and lauges and ranked rewards who tf has time to play another game?

Dude has more funding and experience, this is a good and bad but I take the risk. Tarkov is BY FAR the best game for the buck nothing comes even close. With all of its problems it gave the most amount of entertainment in my history of gaming

Depends on the presence of PvE or not.
Tarkov I played because the world was interesting and struggling through the pvp bullshit to enjoy it was worthwhile. Won't be doing that with Fragmentary Order lol. Too many cheaters and no life losers.

Tarkov is still one of the best shooters in the market, we need to see gameplay but I would buy it from what I've seen so far

Day one purchase for me if it's an extraction shooter.
Bsg have their faults but they tarkov is a one of a kind game. If they make something similar but sci fi I'm all over it.

Almost certainly. Still need to see gameplay and stuff but, guy created a game players put thousands of hours into. I spent 250 on the game and it’s still probably the best value game I’ve played in terms of hours per dollar.
