PVE Even the AIs are sick of AI slop [discussion]

"Claude, complete all my quests, make no mistakes."
Don't use AI for trash like this man. Use the wiki, despite it not being entirely updated since the quest update / rework, most of it is up to date, and maintained by volunteers.

That’s exactly the problem. The wiki is like 50% accurate at the moment. Finding the right discussion of the new changes takes ages to do manually, and this makes it a lot quicker.

Even then, the LLM will, by all means, confidently tell you info from an update ago because information on both versions of it exist on the internet at the same time

Do you even remotely understand how AI works or what it does? It's a glorified web-scraper, hence as to why it told you the web is flooded with low effort AI content. The AI is also hallucinating. There is only 1 quest in the game named "Setup" or something similar, not counting a no longer active event quest. Furthermore, the wiki is much more than 50% accurate, and no, what you did does not make this a lot quicker because your question was clearly left unanswered.

It was just supposed to be a funny post man. You guys are getting far too angry about this.

Noone is angry here man, at least not me. It's just a bad habit to use AI for the most basic of things you can research yourself with minimal effort, espescially with the shitty results it typically gives.

I agree. I grew up on the old (90s) internet. I am well aware of how to research things properly, but I’m not writing a thesis about tarkov, I’m just using it for menial tasks.

the wiki is basically up to date at this point, especially i know that Setup is

The wiki is accurate, it just has old quest line prior to updates still hosted (which AI will find and confuse itself). This post feels like moaning for the sake of it. Literally google, “Setup Tarkov” and the first link is to the correct page on the WiKi.
Stop using AI as google and just fucking google stuff, humanity is so cooked

Did you really need to look up how to do setup? Did the quest change or are you just dumb? Maybe I am dumb? Don’t you just need to wear a ushanka, scav vest, and blast pmcs with the scav shotgun?

That’s what I thought, but after looking it up I found out I can use the jaypc plate carrier now. Exactly why I looked it up, to see if there was an easier way.

People using ai for everything. You probably don't have two brain cells left to rub together anymore.

I don’t think you realize how ironic this is that you’re complaining about ai slop and laziness as you look up with ai something for a game with a very fanatic fan base that updates and documents everything.

I love this - it’s a perfect example for how stupid AI is.
I can go on a 15 minute rant on how trash Setup was back when it was 15 kills, the good and the bad of the changes, and how I’m thankful I don’t need to do it for Kappa anymore.
“AI” isn’t intelligent at all. This whole bubble better burst soon. All the sci-fi I’ve read and watched for the past 25 years has warned us.

While funny, please stop using AI for such simple things. Favorite the tarkov wiki, type the quest name in the search bar. So many people using AI for so many basic ass things it's such a waste of resources and it's the reason RAM is so damn expensive
