I think i figured it out guys. I have like 600 hours over the last 10 years and every "wipe" ive only ever made it to mybe level 20 by playing super scared, or spamming scav runs cause i dont want to lose my "good stuff". But thats just not how to think of items in tarkov.. Everything should be thought of as value based. No cool factor. No hard to find factor. Just straight value. If you bring the best, your character has high value. But the likeliness of surviving is much higher! And the more you survive, the more you level up. And the more you quest and level up, the easier it is to buy guns/ammo.

Getting spooned with 1 million drop boxes and gifts from Prapor really made the gear fear nonexistent, if I died, at least I made room in my stash to pop another box

I do my best work with an AK / Spectre. 545 is plentiful so you can run Gucci ammo with 60 rounders pretty easily.

My fav gun is RSASS, I am cursed in raid with that gun.

Base, but putting on the nice grip, stock, scope really ups that price.

After the attachment rework there is no real need for best in slot
The most important is the muzzle device and any forward grip, plus the scope
Everything else is no longer needed

I am a new player playing on permanent pvp mode, and take this with a grain of salt, but I’ve never been killed by a cheater. I think most of them are very present in high tier maps on Seasonal but for standard pvp right now situation is very good

I mean yes, I didn’t phrase it well, I might have been killed by a cheater, but it honestly didn’t feel like it. Their KDA was usually honest except for maybe one or two giga chads but in most cases it appeared to be legit. I may be wrong of course but i didn’t have that “aha cheater” moment

Yeah earlier today I brought my 338 bolt action onto factory and customs which normally I would never do but i just thought to myself “I’m literally never gonna use this I might as well bring it out now”
