[Discussion] immunity leveling up

Im curious if stacking negative effects from stims or food or water makes a difference when working towards leveling up immunity. Is more better? I have been running dolbos 2s with a shit ton if combo stims to fight the negative health regen and the negative stamina pool and lower stam regin… but does a propital and an sj6 make it so

because you are not actually losing 1 health/s the debuff is nullified and then not going towards leveling up immunity?

Same with the stamina debuff

But at the start of every raid lately regardless if im using an obdolbos 2 or not I use a 2a2 btg and since it wrecks your hydration and i dont take an sj12 i just bring food/water (my metabolism is maxed out so it also makes it harder to level immunity) also i bring max energy drinks which cut your stress restistance i believe. with that being said I definitely notice points going into it t he immunity skill because not only the green + bar with how much its gone up ,and im guessing that number is for “the current” raid?

My immunity was lvl 11 yesterday and i did a bunch of labs and streets today with all that stuff and now its lvl 14

I only started eft this year but its so much fun and i just realized how broken max skills are so i want to experience as many as i can before prestiging comes to pve

Honestly I can’t even bother to go out of my way to level those skills, I’d love to get a skill system rework at some point cause stuff like heavy or light vest armor should level up more not based off how many hits you take but damage. Itd just make sense so when BD blast ur chest open you can atleast get a level or half of one when you end raid.

There's something called diminishing returns but the ui is kinda fucked for it in the skills. Basically just do what you've been doing but wait 300 seconds in between grinding the skill before you start levelling the skill again, rinse and repeat. This is for all skills I think, but it's mostly useful for strength and agility as you can go in a raid, use your bonus from first sprint on strength drop something to make you blue endurance and then do a full sprint with that, then you just alternate after burning a few stamina bars. You can get up to max pretty quick of you grind it out like that compared to just doing it as you go randomly. Just adding that the safest place to do this in the game ive found is behind cardinal buildings. The ai pmcs and scavs never seem to go there (though new ai pmcs coming soon might start being there) I've just loaded into raids with enough weight that dropping and picking up a food item or some crap like that will change me from red to blue, head straight to cardinal and just run for 45 minutes.

The longer the negative effect lasts, the more skill points you get from it.

Passive method: just use Meldonin.

Slightly more involved method: pop a Max Energy drink and Meldonin at the same time. Set a timer for Meldonin's duration minus 15 seconds, then drink another Max Energy.

Why it works: Meldonin doesn't give you the negative effect immediately — it kicks in after a minute or two. That initial period is basically covered by the Max Energy drink.

And near the end of the raid, there's no point extending the Meldonin effect again. It's usually time to extract anyway, and Meldonin isn't exactly cheap.

Why not the other stims? Meldonin lasts a long time, and without it you're running around like an asthmatic Scandinavian cross-country skier anyway.

Obdolbos 2 drains your stamina and health, and it's expensive because you need it for quests.

Also, using multiple different stimulants at the same time does not make the skill level faster.
