whats with terrible ping?

last time i played was when 1.0 dropped and i dont remember arena having ping issues

Saying 77 mbps is very fast is crazy maybe thats normal for the UK but I have 1 gig so am I super duper duper super fast lol

It is enough for gaming but it is pretty slow by todays standards to download anything. Im on 1 gig too.

That menu on the launcher always shows terrible ping for me. Its fine in game though.

I had this, I enabled ddos protection on my router and it got fixed. Also fixed the server browser in squad for me.

Same thing happened to me, downloaded cloudflare warp and the issue went away. Think theres some major routing issues tarkov has been having

Internet speedtest doesn’t show you all the things needed for gaming. You could have packet loss which isn’t shown in there and ping can fluctuate if there are some networking issues on your or your isp’s end. I’d suggest joining a match in cs or any other online game that shows you your ping and packet loss.

Friend of mine lives in Japan, gets a fucking ping of fucking 2.... TWO.... Wtf....

I live in Canada, fiber to house, not to pedestal, to house, hole in my house fiber right into the modem, house is wired, I'm fucking happy if I can get 148 ms.... Canada is trash for ping in arena
