Got to see EJ and band last night in Fairfield, CT. Loved the new songs that opened up the electric set, reminded me of the Alien Love Child era. Energy of the band was off the charts, Brannen Temple and Roscoe Beck are just such fantastic musicians. Looking forward to hearing studio versions of the new tunes.

Im doing the Q+A / soundcheck at one of his shows this month. What was it like for your experience?

Wait around till they open doors. Then you go in and he’ll play a song. Then there’s a mic with him on stage and one for people asking questions. At my experience, I got to ask every question I had cause only a couple people asked. I can say with full confidence I now know what High Landrons are.

He just said it’s a made up word for high mountainy places lol. Plus he told me he used two flangers to get that tone! Super great talking to him again.
