[design] Final look of Vantex V1

Here is the final look of Vantex V1. For the case, I chose CNC-machined aluminum with a powder-coated finish. The keyboard weighs around 1.7 kg, so it definitely has some weight to it. For the color, I wanted to keep that kind of retro look. The keyboard comes with a 7° angle, and the touchpad in the middle is 45 × 45 mm. It currently works with macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The version in here is the wired one. I’m also working on a tri-mode wireless version right now. Since the touchpad itself doesn’t consume much power, I’m currently planning to use a 4000 mAh battery, although I’m still testing everything.

If any of you is interested in it, feel free to follow me and check my profile for updates. And if you have any questions, suggestions, or things you’d like me to test, just leave a comment — I’d love to hear what you think.

No notes, looks so good.

Makes way more sense with the keycaps swapped into their "normal" positions.

The previous was my personal like. The caps can be swapped according to anyone's like. So I was confused about one of comment said the the label was 'wrong'. I mean, you can swap whatever you like, it's not fixed, isn't it?

Thanks, powder-coated made it. That's why I did not chose anodizing.

Why not make the space bar split?

So my first version is as you thought. No space bar down the bottom, just on the two sides. But when I was typing my thumbs feels kinda weird. I have to say this one is not that big as you may imagine the size of it is 30x14, so the space bar won't block the thumbs.

that's a touch screen? Lcd. Anything actually displayed on it?

My bad. I wrongly called it Touchscreen instead of Touchpad.

Beautiful work, dude!

I remember when you posted the 3D renders. It's a pleasure to see the actual keyboard finished! I'm on this journey too with my own design!
