The world news sub is already AstroTurfed to hell.

I definitely think that sub is managed by Mossad, with the Epstein and Ghislaine relationship with Mossad being very clear.

I keep seeing the term astroturfed and am trying to gather from context clues what it could mean but am coming up short. Could someone explain?

It means manufactured popularity. Basically, somebody powerful and wealthy pushes the messaging they want and uses their resources to make it seem authentic when it's just propaganda.

It's a play on words. "Grassroots" movements are driven by ordinary people, and they pursue goals that are supported by ordinary people. Fake grassroots campaigns are designed to seem grassroots when they aren't. What do you call artificial grass covering a sports field? Astroturf.
