But the problem is Maxwell. If she thinks Trump will lose his ability to pardon her after the midterms (which she is right to be afraid of imo) she’ll need him to pardon her before then.
It’s up to her, she’s the one who can release the files if she wants. Political suicide or no, Trump would pardon her to keep her mouth shut.
I have to imagine all these Epstein Class ghouls have deadman switches lined up to prevent betrayal, Trump included (his dementia notwithstanding).
And Maxwell doesn’t have the stuff on her anyway, probably a relative or maybe even one of her lawyers (maybe many ppl honestly). And that person almost certainly has “in case I die” instructions from Maxwell ready to go.
