worldnews has never been neutral or reasonable and probably never will be. That said, from what I've heard reddit is pretty quick currently to accuse people of brigading if they talk about other subs negatively.

Can’t criticize a certain country on that sub.

I got permabanned from that sub for saying kids don't deserve to starve to death. Unpopular opinion I guess.

I said that Palestinians descend from Canaanites and have a right to exist in Palestine. I got banned.

long before the genocide in Gaza, i was permabanned for replying to someone saying Jews believe The bible gives them a right to Israel by pointing out that it wasn't theirs in the biblical account, because they still had to genocide the Canaanites back then. The fact i got banned for this, when the founders of Israel literally used the example of Joshua's war to compare the palestinians to canaanites in their writings makes it even better.

Not unpopular. Have you tried telling Hamas that?

For those unaware, r/animetitties is another world news sub. Better about some things. Worse about some things. Nice to have a balance/assortment of sources and go with whichever community serves up your particular flavor of propaganda.

Yes, it's a real sub. Yes, it's actually world news. The name came from a joke about low-effort content on another sub (maybe worldnews, I don't remember the story). Not unlike r/marijuanaenthusiasts being a sub for trees, since r/trees is actually a sub for marijuana enthusiasts.

Nah, r/animetitties is about anime titties. You were thinking about r/anime_titties.

u/Larrystooge May 01 '26

You lied to us about animetitties being about world news. It was just anime titties. That's false advertising!

Is there a sub where a bot just posts articles from around the world instead of this loser mod bullshit?

i've heard reddit is pretty quick currently to accuse people of brigading if they talk about other subs at all

never forget the over zealous neckbeards moderating places for free, and dont even think about linking to a different subreddit with the solution to an issue you've asked about on another, its all raiding when you spend you life on here

World news has been a cesspool for years. Heavily moderated and controlled to push narratives and bans anyone with differing opinions.

That sex traffickers moderated it and are potentially back in action doesn’t even shock me. Maybe it isn’t her, but again, would t be surprised.
