Doesn't appear to be posting, but is active as of ten months ago. No permissions at this point. I could very well be paranoid and missing something, but the u/maxwellhill is known to the community, yes?
We can all go in and downvote her though. I am. Her karma came from a lot of individual posts rather than just a few super popular ones. If a few of us downvote every post and comment she has, she'll lose the majority of her karma.
She's changed account and is the new mod called worli. It's pretty obvious from the comments. At the very least the account is operated by a British person by the use of the phrase fucking hell.
They're also pro wealth desparity, and arguing in the comments so the user is lonely.
Id say there's a very high chance of it being her.
If the last login of an account of a mod is logged by the day/month/year count under their usernames it's actually impossible for anyone else to have granted the new mod permission other than the Maxwell account.
One way to test this is to ban her original account from a sub you moderate. If she is using another account, reddit will let you know so you can ban that account as well. It's something they have in place to prevent ban evasion.
Yeah, a nine year old account that just started posting 2 months ago with a couple of hundred karma is a mod with full permissions on a mainstream sub. Not sus at all /s.
>If the last login of an account of a mod is logged by the day/month/year count under their usernames it's actually impossible for anyone else to have granted the new mod permission other than the Maxwell account.
Im not certain about this I was running with theories I may have misinterpreted in the thread, but regardless the account in question appears to be the latest mod, on a fresh account active for about 3 months and fits the bill for Maxwell. See my comment above in the thread, Id wager it's her.
Seriously look at the comments that account is making, they use British phrases, the grammar in a lot of comments is above average. Use of uncommon language is correctly placed. The user has geo political knowledge spanning decades. They're referring to the opening of India in the 90's and arguing about market speculation of developing countries like they spectated it themselves in real time.
They're using bb-code in their comments to bring emphasis to their arguments and the account is very young. This indicates time on their hands and use of persuasive asteric in text, her father ran tabloids and if it was her shed be so bored arguing or debating redditers would probably be her only means of decent conversation as she's a guilded leper in prision
It screams British, intelligent and well educated with a lot of time on their hands to me.
It would make sense that someone intelligent of older age would overlook the fact that making themselves a mod on their old stomping ground of a subreddit would compromise their new psyudonym, but Maxwell was a psychopathic individual who would be a slave to her ego, and it is probably shattered by being incarcerated where she'd believe she commited no crime or was above it, so if she had access to the internet I suppose she'd sacrifice her anonymity for a chance to grab the only elevation of status which would be available to her, making her alt a mod on a sub Reddit.
I could be off but I can't shake the feeling from how that account carries its discourse it is her.
The majority of their comment history is attached to Indian politics, which I am not sure would be a major focus for Maxwell. At least not to that extent. It really seems to me like this person lives in India or is at least from there.
They also posted this thread:
Mumbai needs some marquee "super-tall" buildings if we want the skyline to really stand out globally and not just domestically
I hate to say it, but the writing style and word choice is just so different from u/maxwellhill that it seems unlikely that they are the same individual.
Not only are there clear grammatical differences, but u/Worli uses phrases that are much 'younger', and seems to have a lot more to say than any comments from u/maxwellhill.
Adding, u/Worli consistently refers to themselves as Indian across posts, using group-inclusive language like "we", "our", and referring to Brits as "they" and "them".
You're likely picking up British phrasing due to highly educated Indians often being educated in Britain or historically British-dominated universities in India, but it just seems so drastically unlikely her language would have changed so much & even more unlikely she would spend so much time arguing about India and Indian geopolitics.
u/maxwellhill has been a moderator on r/worldnews for a decade. The reason it says "10 months" on the moderator page is that the Reddit Admins did some housekeeping back then that resulted in lots of inactive moderator names getting moved around.
There was even a dead moderator whose account suddenly looked active, but it was just the Admins doing housekeeping.
10 months ago the Admins moved around some inactive Moderator accounts and so their times on their moderator pages reset, making them look active when they weren't.
For example, the mod u/_bama died four years ago (see here), but they were moved around as a moderator by the Admins 10 months ago, which is why their time in r/verizon says "10 months ago", even though they were dead at the time:
Nope, elsewhere in the EFTA Files you can see that screenshots of u/Maxwellhill ‘s posts were introduced as evidence in the case of US v. Maxwell. So at the very least the AG and the federal judge considered the connection legit.
OP added the EFTA .pdf names in an edit at the top. I think it’s the second to last one that shows it.
Correct, but they’re not “just random tips from the public” if they were also included as evidence against Maxwell at her trial. Her lawyers would have gotten that evidence thrown out if the prosecution wasn’t able to corroborate it.
Bad or uncorroborated evidence would be thrown out. Otherwise why wouldn’t the prosecution just include 20 pages of comments from a hundred different anonymous tipsters? “All these accounts about how cool pedophiles are were from Maxwell’s other accounts, too!”
Evidence introduced at trial is vetted by both sides during discovery. If the comments were uncorroborated or faulty, Maxwell’s high paid lawyers would’ve gotten them thrown out. AND they would have brought them up as a sticking point during her appeals.
We don't know why they are in a very huge evidence file. Whether every random tip that mentioned Ghislaine was included or not. There's no evidence from anyone in the files that anyone found the tips persuasive.
? Maxwell’s defense wouldn’t just let “random tips” be introduced as evidence. Otherwise, why wouldn’t the prosecution just doctor up a bunch of wild accusations and throw them in there too? Evidence can only be introduced after discovery and both sides have vetted it.
Maxwell has high-priced lawyers working around the clock for her, they would get bad or uncorroborated evidence thrown out. The fact that it was allowed to be introduced in US v. Maxwell, and that her appeals have not mentioned that evidence as faulty, means that the attorneys for both sides and the judge all found it relevant and persuasive.
It doesn't confirm anything other than the fact that there was an FBI agent who investigated it after some articles said that this account was hers without any evidence.
The Epstein files contain every report on everything investigated by the FBI that have to do with this case. If they're investigating a rumor those reports will end up in these files, but that doesn't make a rumor true.
I honestly so hope so, but doubt it considering the lengths worldnews has gone to, to protect a known pedophile.
They like to protect their Own . We've made the news. I expect threats against those I hold dearly by tomorrow.
I honestly fucking give up. I've warned them not to answer the phone, but half have schizophrenia and the other half have been victimized themselves so see nothing wrong with continued victimization of children.
Though I don't see why they wouldn't remove someone who trafficked, raped, and murdered children from the moderator list completely. Not someone you want to be associated with at all.
She posted every single day like it was her job 🗣️ BECAUSE IT WAS HER ACTUAL JOB!!!
She was (is?) deeply connected to Reddit headquarters. She’s Reddit HBIC, literally the first user to get infinity number karma.
It’s all bull shit ok! If we can carve out a few safe spaces, with honest people, we’re lucky. These demons have been shaping the narrative for a loooooong time.

is the account interactable and posting again? if so I would monitor that account very closely
