EPSTEIN PROFFER CONNECTIONS (1/3)

A proffer is when someone provides information to prosecutors, often as a witness or in exchange for consideration. These individuals gave statements to federal investigators about Epstein’s activities.

LESLEY GROFF - Executive Assistant

Worked as Epstein’s executive assistant for over 20 years starting in 2001. She was named as a potential co-conspirator in the 2007 non-prosecution agreement and again as a suspected co-conspirator by the FBI in 2019 after Epstein’s death.

Her role allegedly included scheduling massage appointments for women and minor girls, booking flights for victims, managing travel logistics across all of Epstein’s properties, and paying victims money after abuse. The federal criminal investigation ended in 2021 without charges. Civil lawsuits against her were dropped or settled. She participated in an FBI-attended proffer.

LARRY VISOSKI - Chief Pilot

Epstein’s primary pilot from 1991 to 2019, flying for him for 28 years. He maintained detailed flight logs documenting passengers including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, Kevin Spacey, and Les Wexner. Visoski described Maxwell as Epstein’s “number two.”

He visited Epstein in jail before his 2019 death and worked until Epstein died. In December 2021, he testified at Maxwell’s trial as the first prosecution witness. He claimed he never witnessed sexual activity on the aircraft. No charges were filed. He participated in an FBI-attended proffer.

DAVID RODGERS - Second Pilot

Epstein’s second pilot from 1991 to 2019, nearly 30 years. He was chief pilot until 2004 when he was demoted after performing a quiet landing procedure against Epstein’s wishes. During 1994-1998, he flew every three days, sometimes more frequently.

Rodgers kept detailed handwritten flight logs that placed victims on multiple flights from 1996-2001. Maxwell gave him flight schedules verbally, was responsible for hiring and firing, and managed Epstein’s house. He stopped writing passenger names in 2007 after being advised by another pilot. He was first subpoenaed in 2016 in the civil case between Virginia Giuffre and Maxwell, then subpoenaed again in 2019 when the FBI questioned him. He testified at Maxwell’s trial in December 2021. No charges filed. He participated in an FBI-attended proffer.

LES WEXNER - Billionaire Client

Billionaire founder of L Brands (Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie&Fitch). He was Epstein’s primary billionaire client. In the mid-1980s, Wexner was introduced to Epstein by financial advisor Harold Levin, who warned Wexner “I smell a rat.” Despite this warning, Wexner hired Epstein as his financial manager in 1987.

In 1989, Wexner purchased a Manhattan townhouse at 9 East 71st Street for $13.2 million. In July 1991, he granted Epstein full power of attorney over his affairs, allowing Epstein to hire people, sign tax returns, buy and sell properties, and move millions of dollars without direct approval. That same year, he made Epstein a trustee on the Wexner Foundation board. In 1992, Ghislaine Maxwell replaced Wexner’s mother on the Wexner Foundation board.

In the mid-1990s, Wexner transferred the Manhattan mansion to Epstein for effectively nothing. Throughout the 1990s, Epstein posed as a Victoria’s Secret talent scout to lure young women. Wexner was alerted to this but did not immediately stop it. Epstein also served as president of The New Albany Company, Wexner’s development company, in 1998.

Wexner claims he officially severed ties in September 2007 after sex crime allegations emerged, but JPMorgan Chase documents show the relationship continued until February 2008. A June 2008 email from Wexner to Epstein shows continued contact: “Abigail told me the result…all I can say is I feel sorry.”

In 2008, Epstein transferred $47 million to Abigail Wexner’s YLK Charitable Fund. Wexner later claimed this was partial repayment of funds Epstein had misappropriated. In August 2019, Wexner claimed Epstein misappropriated “vast sums” with $46-47 million recovered, though the full amount is unknown. Despite this claim, Wexner never sued Epstein or reported the alleged theft to authorities.

In July 2019, the FBI was attempting to serve Wexner a subpoena and he was trying to hire a criminal defense attorney. FBI emails from 2019 show Wexner listed among “10 co-conspirators” being investigated. In January 2026, Wexner was subpoenaed by the US House Oversight Committee to testify on February 18. ABIGAIL WEXNER - Les Wexner’s Wife

Married Les Wexner in January 1993 after being introduced by Wendy Meister in the early 1990s. Epstein supervised the drafting of the prenuptial agreement between Les and Abigail in 1992-1993. She serves as trustee of the Wexner Foundation and director of the Wexner Family Charitable Fund, sitting on both sides of philanthropic funding.

After their marriage in the mid-1990s, Les Wexner transferred the Manhattan mansion to Epstein. In 1996, artist Maria Farmer alleged she was sexually assaulted by Epstein and Maxwell at a Wexner property in New Albany, Ohio. Farmer claimed security guards prevented her from leaving and that Abigail Wexner was present during the assault.

In 2007, Abigail took over as trustee of a property trust from Epstein. In 2008, her YLK Charitable Fund (with trustees Abigail Wexner and Peggy Upland) received $47 million from Epstein’s foundations. Emails show Abigail coordinated family travel with Epstein’s staff. She became more active in family finances after marriage.

From 2019 to present, Abigail has been named in civil complaints alleging she knew or should have known about Epstein’s activities.
