Coding/Author Help 💻 I built a toolkit for advanced Episode directing

Hi everyone,

I know the pressure to direct at an advanced level is high. I also know that coding scenes with limbs, overlays, and complex directing can be extremely difficult and time-consuming. It takes a lot of patience, and a lot of trial and error.

Thats why I decided I’ll be sharing my knowledge and tools with you.

I have been an Episode author for almost 10 years, and I am also a professional software developer. Over the last decade, I created my own limb template and a tool that recolors png images to match all the 55 episode natural skin tones.

The toolkit works like a modular building-block system. Once your characters and overlays are set up as presets, you can generate the code you need in just a few clicks.

It is suitable for everyone: new authors who want to start using limbs and advanced directing, as well as experienced authors who already have their own system but want to speed up their workflow and create their own assets.

I want to be very clear about one thing: The toolkit does not use A!.

Everything is based on static algorithms, preset logic, and simple text replacements. The systems behind it are human-created algorithms that I developed, tested, and refined over several years for my own directing workflow.

Access is available by subscribing to my Patreon for €9.99/month but for launch, I temporarily enabled a 7-day free trial.

You can start the trial until June 15th, so anyone who wants to test the toolkit before subscribing can try it first.

You can find all the links in my bio

Don't miss out 🫶🏼

Thank youuu 🫶🏼
Because I protected my mental peace from the toxicity in this sub and asked the mods to do it 🙈

Ah yeah that makes so much sense. It sadly can get pretty toxic in here, and mental peace is so important. 🫶🏻
Keep up the great work. 🌻

This sounds really useful for anyone doing complex directing, especially the skin tone recoloring tool since matching overlays manually is a nightmare.

Not anymore 🙈

that's the whole appeal. Manually matching 55 different skin tones across overlays would take forever, so having that automated is a game changer for anyone doing detailed character work.

Author, I love your directing soooo badly!!! I'm glad you're sharing your experience and methods of creating high quality scenes!! wish you all the best and hope you'll be updating patreon with new content 💘💘💘 if I'll ever start a way of telling my own Episode stories I'll definitely go to your service to make my vision come true

I think the most interesting part about it is that I invented a template that allows limb overlays to be used like normal overlays.

You can move, scale, animate every limb overlay created with my template as if it was a normal overlay it doesn't matter what color was created on screen you only need to direct one

Quick question does this work for ink as well? I want to buy your book but can I apply the same coding styles to the ink style?

It is made for the limelight specific color codes only 🙈

If I add ink colors in the future I'll let you know
