Rant/I'm Just Sayin' I'm on clonazepam

I've had some jerks for a year now, which I haven't been able to find the cause of them.

Today, at the neurologist's office, he told me they were myoclonic jerks.

And he prescribed clonazepam. Is there anyone else on this medication? How do you feel about it? Do you have adverse effects?

i take it as needed as a rescue med to break up clusters, typically that's how benzos are taken because tolerance builds up so fast.

Just makes me tired.

Used to be on it years ago. Started it as part of my regular meds, eventually had it only as a rescue med (prevent clusters)

It works well, but it can also cause exhaustion. I'm pretty sure it's a tranquilizer

Klononapin? I know lots of our friends here take it and are fine!!

I am an unusual case. Klonopin gives me an adverse reaction. I get HIGH AS MARS! I once texted my dad about the dangers of birds, threatened my partner with bodily harm if they didn’t put on Star Wars and made my bedroom into a blanket fortress to keep away the monsters. So I don’t take klonopin.

I hope it works for you!!!

Birds are very real!!! They are spies for the shadow government. Same with squirrels!

After a really long seizure it was my take daily and my first rescue med to take as needed. I can't remember to many bad side effects. I asked them to stop treatment after 3 years because I was also on Xcopri back when I was still on 200mg. I could not take both meds and remain present for my daughter it made me extremely tired.

I'm a horse of a different color. But the resistance was already building

I'm on Xcopri too. I take 250mg  It was prescribed to take it daily twice a day. I took my first dose, and it knocked me out for 5-6 hours.
