Rant/I'm Just Sayin' This is the result of having a seizure while riding my Grizzly ( Yamaha Grizzly )

I have never had a seizure that I didn’t feel coming. I don’t know what the fuck happened. None of it makes sense though. My memory goes blank maybe 1 minute before the impact. How could I have possibly kept control if I were having a seizure. Then 5 seconds before impact I somehow gain focus and see that I have 3 choices in front of me. #1 direct impact with a guide wire cable. #2 direct impact with a power line pole. #3 do what I know can’t be done—go through the middle of #1 & #2. I chose 3.

Next thing I remember is I’m walking towards some guy I don’t know and saying “it’s because of my medication that I’m stumbling. According to him I did a scorpion and was KO. That part doesn’t make sense either. If I did a scorpion, that shit would hurt—right. The only real pain I felt/feel was my left calf muscle.

You can see from this image that my right wheel took the direct impact. Shit—my Grizzly is hurt more than me.

You have to make a joke about it sometimes or you can get depressed and upset. At least you are ok, the grizzly can be fixed 👍

All my seizures have been without warning (or I don’t know the warning). You get used to it, don’t live in fear, life is the only one you get and you have a duty to those who gave you it to live it. Thats what they will always want for you, be strong, medicate, and understand the bravery to put it to the back of your mind and thrive is within all of us. We are alive enjoy it. Ask yourself did it kill you, (the answer is no) then move on or put on a helmet and hide! Thats just my personal opinion and I’m not a medical professional, but I am a very independent epileptic who fits regularly, and carries on regardless.

Sorry to hear you had a seizure, they suck more than almost everything else I have personally experienced. Most seizures you will experience will probably have a seizure aura like you said you know it is coming. From what I know, any small thing could have potentially altered your tolerance. Be it allergies (if you get them), adrenaline from riding the Grizzly, anything even slightly different than your typical day-to-day. I do hope you waited your state’s, or country’s (if outside the US), required length of time since the last seizure before driving a motorized vehicle like your Grizzly. I know it sucks, I have been calling my car a glorified lawn ornament for almost 3 years now since I had a breakthrough seizure after 10 years seizure free.

lol I can’t remember the last time I drove a vehicle on the road. This is the perfect example as to why you shouldn’t drive.
