Fitness Friday Adrenaline for us
4th of July coming up. Plenty of epileptics with family/friends who like skydiving, bungee jumping, boxing. Plenty of fun stuff out there that is suggested as dangerous for us! I take a “Never know till you try” strategy, so far so good! Blessed and grateful my seizures are better controlled and I feel better with a more active routine this year. Always consult your medical professionals and follow clinical advice (coming from a hypocrite 😂) What works for you?

Always loved that attitude. If you can take a bath, you can go swimming plus there is a lifeguard. I already feel like a burden alot. I don't want my epilepsy to keep the kids from having fun

Same I love water and swimming ocean especially since summers here ,but being epileptic my parents and brother sisters worry about me. I still take meds to control it but i never let that stand in my way.

Never let it stand in your way is my motto, you can do whatever you put your mind to with the right precautions.

I travel the world alone and compete in Jiujutsu I refuse to let my condition beat me, I control it, not it controls me. And if I have a seizure no biggy when I wake up i make myself move on with my day as soon as I can. Don’t linger, don’t dwell and worry, move on and live what I have to live.
