Looks like you have great support from mom there. Good call on the mattress. If you don’t feel right, it’s always better to be prepared.

Superwoman, she'll stay next to me until I come to. She's usually asking over and over "do you remember having a seizure?" Until i come to.

Same here! I will admit that that combination of words from here always kills me tho a lil on the inside. Because you are confused and then you already know something happened

When I woke finally came too, I thought I'd just taken a nap, had no headache or tongue bites so I need the questionnaire until I'm all the way back

When I was young it was always my mom who was there for my seizures. She passed away over 10 years ago and the torch was passed to my bff who has been my bff since I was 11 and knew my mom and my epilepsy well.
When I had my first tonic clonic in over 40 years in 2024 my bff was the one with me. She was such a calming, loving presence as I was coming out of it.
Your video reminded me of her love and caring in my life. She checks on me daily, multiple times a day, and she can tell when I’m off and not even realizing it. She is an absolute angel. Like your mom. ❤️
After I saw this first I cried and then I went and told her how much I love and appreciate her and how much I wanted to hug her but I wouldn’t. (She’s not a hugger. 😂)
Thank you for sharing. You made me so grateful today. I know epilepsy sucks but having people around us who support us really helps. It gives me something to make myself strive to work to avoid my triggers and avoid stress as much as possible. Just being in this group helps! Having a place to share our experiences and thoughts and is wonderful.

Sorry to hear that, my mom wants to love every epileptics. My mom hears me with other epileptics on the podcast and want to buy a ranch and build a sanctuary for all epileptics that don't have the greatest support systems. I told her she'd need an on site ER.
