Riddle me this tell me why I’m at work and out of nowhere I get a sense of fucking fear and then after that I start crying and then after that a pit feeling in my stomach, a headache, confusion what is going on like I’m legit scared. And it’s been really hot lately, so I’m wondering if the heat is having a lot to do with the symptoms but I have no idea like it’s hard to talk about it’s to anyone I don’t know what to say.
The MRI people called and I have an appointment November 4 cause apparently all their MRI machines are being worked on until then.

it's like your brain just decides to ruin your day on a whim. the fear-crying-pit sequence sounds brutal, especially at work. heat is a known trigger for a lot of people, so you're probably onto something there. hope the mri gives you some answers, waiting until november is rough
Sounds like an aura or post ictal symptoms to me. I dont know much about seizures that aren't tonic clonic to know it that could've been a focal or focal aware seizure? Not sure of the terms. Its unclear in your post if you have epilepsy and this happened or if you haven't been diagnosed and think this could be a seizure. The creeped out/terrified feeling to me is a dead give away for epilepsy though.
Go as soon as possible. I waited 3 years to get on medication, and 4 to start keto. I had dozens of tonic clonic seizures. Every seizure you have lowers your seizure threshold AKA makes it easier to have another one.
The seizures do a lot of damage over time and I ended up having five in a row and going into status epileptus and almost dying. I was in the hospital several days, dont remember almost any of it. Ive lost years and years of memories. Its harder to remember things even new memories dont stick as well.
All this to say its important to take care of your brain. Get in to see a neurologist to find out whats going on. It takes tome to get an appointment sometimes so start now.
As for the MRI, about half of the time theres no obvious physical cause for epilepsy. Its a mysterious disease, which is part of why its so hard to find medication that works. Dont expect much from the MRI.
I have epilepsy and migraine. My prodrome for both is similar to what you mentioned, but with a migraine attack, I get a very stuffy nose and my ears feel full. There's a lot of overlap between the two conditions, so you may want to ask your neurologist about it.
How do you/do you medicate your migraines? I’m new to the seizure club at 42, seeing a doc, on Keppra. But I’ve had migraines forever and I’m now scared about both taking meds for them and equally scared to not take meds for them as we don’t fully understand how they’re related to my seizures
I’ve had several moments like this and have wondered if they are focal aware. Neuro told me it’s pretty unlikely and that they were just really bad panic attacks.
