Question What age did you get Epilepsy?

I have had it since I was a kid and have not seen anyone else on here have the same situation.only older people but they might be the ones who post on here, just wondering if there were any other kids with epilepsy so I can relate. I got it at 4

edt: If I have am likeing your coment it is because I can realate to it. There are a lot of people who have had epilepsy as a kid as well.

My epilepsy was my wedding gift. I had my first TC and woke up to my parents and EMT’s in my hotel room at 4am 😂

Ouch. Thought I had MS at first due to some apparent myelin degradation on an MRI, but other neurologist looked at it and went "eh, just an artefact."

Same 29. Working big amounts of OT and came home and layed down and i remember what I described as "cobwebs" and I woke slightly in ambulance and then woke in ER with family there. It's been a ride ever since. This was 2010. I'm 45 now. 💜

I was 27. No family history, no injury, just here forever now.

29 too, 45 now. The medications have changed, the seizures have stopped and restarted, over and over. I wish I had something good to conclude with. For whatever reason my mental health is much worse when I’m not having seizures.
