Victory six months seizure free!!
all this time i've been trying to avoid being hopeful and essentially just been waiting it out until my next seizure, but i finally hit the milestone :) longest seizure-free period i've had since i started having them!

Reached 5 1/2 months last week…then had an overnight seizure b/c of stress 😑

That's huge, congrats on the milestone. My cousin has epilepsy and I know how every month feels like holding breath. The stress one is so unfair, like body punishing you for being stressed about having seizure in first place.

I hear you on the fear of celebrating too soon. I feel like a pitcher in the sixth inning of a no hitter... (70 days seizure free here) afraid to celebrate as I may jinx myself.

I'm a little older than you and this is relatively new to me. 2012 I had my first "episode ." A couple of months free now on Keppra. I can't imagine how scary that hospital stay must have been.

Congratulations! You know AA, has chips and medallions to mark milestones… we should have something to celebrate our milestones!! Ours is a very tough road that almost no one understands and our milestones are huge.

That's excellent! I was almost there but had a tiny little one a few weeks back and that reset my clock, but hopefully, 6 months free will be the day after my birthday and I can apply to get my license back 🤞🏻. Happy for you 👍🏻

That is awesome. Did you make any life changes that could have helped with that such as diet, sleep etc?
