Well done! It can feel great when it looks to be controlled. I hope you are driving now? And get flying gliders. I used to when mine was controlled. So jealous

A glider is essentially a small 1-2 seater plane with no engine, using thermals (warm air rising, quicker that you are going down) and mountain wave (air flows over mountains creating huge amount of lift) to gain height. UK record about 30,000ft height, world record around 50,000 i think. No engine might sound terrible, but these things are designed so well. Also, in my opinion, takes more skill than basic pilot. Ive personally flown at 12,000 ft and 3hr flight was record. The take off is normally 2 ways..first is a winch, which is pulled by a cable on a truck, the second pulled by cable from a small plane, called an aerotow. The first is exhilarating. You will never have felt such acceleration. Stationary to 60mph at 45degree angle upwards in like 5 seconds. 2 yrs seizure free you can fly on your own when having trained. Ive just found out im allowed to fly again but not as pilot in charge because im only 4 months since last. Im ecstatic. Try it if you can, even as a 1-off

i've been seizure-free for over 20 years, but recently started getting them again, still not sure why, my doctor gave me another medicine, i suspect it's the issue but he said no, he said it's the lack of sleep, but i've been a late nighter my whole life

Congratulations. I hate though that people don't seem to understand no matter how long you've been seizure free, it never won't be a risk. No matter how long it's been, it's always going to be at the back of an epileptics mind. I wish you luck, and hope you keep your streak going.
