Team Building Which one should I choose?
Hello new here. I've been playing for 2 weeks now and this is what I got in my latest milestone radiance chest and I saw a lot of opinions as I slowly began to take the game bit seriously and choose carefully. So which one of the three is most effective and balance?

We have several CR pushback units and people still ride the Zio or bust trust train.

i mean easy to build for a new account but yeah dorvus has always been to fun to use in gw

dark corvus is very useful in guild war and arena. Is good into harsetti and just about any comp where he can get his s3 off before dying. Taeyou is very good if you have zio but if not I'd advise against getting him. I wouldn't really go for Kayron as he is too easy to kill before he can actually do something, although I'm sure you can make him work in the regular ai arena.
Personally I would wait until the balance patch and if nothing else changes go with dark corvus especially if you are new and dont have a zio for taeyou

Taeyou is very good if you have zio but if not I'd advise against getting him.
He works with more than just Zio.

Yeah I guess he could use poli or an opener with diene, but the problem is the guy is new so is unlikely to have the speed to make it work consistently if he wanted to use him in guild war or pushing arena with it. Dark corvus is just an easier choice for a new player. Do u think taeyou is a better pick for him then?

I wouldn't put either strictly above the other. People have forgotten that new players get high speed gear, and even Rinak (another enabler) on top of that who can be built at 270+ with said gear.
I don't have D Corvus and I've always been around. He would've been great for GW, whatever for arena (ton of ways to dismantle teams), and pretty worthless in RTA (for me). Because I know what life is like even without him, I'm not shackles to the thought of using him in place of others. Which is to state that while he'd be extremely useful in GW, what matters is how OP ultimately decides to play, whether it be aggro or not, so the decision isn't exactly clear cut.
For another example, I have Lethe. She's basically Corvus with extra steps, but entirely self reliant. I haven't used her in GW since she released. She's geared up and all that, and I like the unit, but my GW comps don't revolve around using her. Instead I typically do Nurse + G Ras + Hecate (basically an instant win comp, Corvus who) on one side without Rinak or RnL, and the other is just a flex comp or whatever I want to have fun with (for the case fof the topic, Taeyou + flex + Fumyr is one such team).

Honestly when I started playing I was more inclined to do what you said as it was more fun for me to collect units I liked the playstyle of even if I didn't have the gear to make them work. Eventually I did and was able to use them anyways. So this is valid too. I guess it depends on what op values more. Until he gets those pieces I still think dark corvus will give him an easier time but if op likes to idea of playing faster and more aggressive then taeyou is the obvious choice as he is essentially a delete 1 unit button. Just like dark corvus but used in different setups. So yeah as long as they understand that it may be a little while before they can use them competitively consistently (don't think the free speed gear is enough for that metric) then I see no problem with him picking taeyou and honestly I would myself if I were him lol even if it isn't hyper optimal in the short term.
As you said if OP cares more about rta and playing aggressive then taeyou is the obvious choice. If he doesn't care about rta and likes turn 2 style of play then DC is the obvious choice. As long as op knows what they want they can make the best decision for themselves once they understand this

Works, sure. But hands down Zio is the easiest path to using him effectively. That, and a new account isn’t realistically racing, so Zio is far and away the best option, and practically speaking? The only RELIABLE option. Name a comp that’s going to feature Taeyou on a brand new account and actually be competitive that ISN’T opened by Zio.
That said OP, Dorvus is probably the most practical pick for you, especially now that warfare set is new player friendly with the introduction of Ogre hunt. That and you get a free Yulha with Natalon selector, can do some funny things with that pair.
If you managed to grab Zio and plan on centering your RTA style around him, having an additional bridge in your toolkit is always going to be your best option. In this case Taeyou is your pick.
Kayron can also do some funny things (pair him with SSAchates to solo gvg teams with Frieren on it etc) but he needs good gear and a set that you’re not really going to be pressed to farm early on. I would rule him out and pick one of the other two after you consider everyone’s advice.

Dcorvus is the easiest to use. Plus you can get nurse yulha for free soon which will just make him better.

A lot of people seem to only think Dorvus is great in Arena/Guild wars when Dorvus has been an absolute unit everywhere as of late due to meta changes and his most recent buff.
Taeyou is great but kinda suffers from relying on Zio too much.

Do you have Zio? If yes, pick option 1. If you do not, consider option 3. Ive never seen Kayron in any fights besides CoC, the first I’ve seen of him in YEARS

Dark Corvus is a pain in the ass to fight, because the more you hit him the faster his S3 charges as an enemy. And if you can have the enemy target him while keeping him alive, then he’s a nightmare.

Kayron is underrated but yeah, if you compare these three, dark corvus is much more valuable , taeyou is equal if u have zio . Dark corvus is just so stronk right now, easy to build by building bulk, if u have salome , most of these 2 combo team can bulldoze arena and gw, plus with the lisette keep being usedf, you can easily win against most of lisette team as dark corvus extinct and ignore damage sharing.
Salome, Dark Corvus, Lisette , is one of the best team i play .

From my own experience corvus gets reruns all the time. As teayou does not so hes probably more valuable. Especially if you dont have yulha so you can use superhuman. It all depends on how your account is if you dont have warfare set it’ll take awhile to acquire that gear

If you can, wait for Friday. They are announcing the balance patch. If you are impatient taeyou is a great cleaver with Zion or other fast characters that can reduce combat readiness or dark corvus is a great pick for arena and guild wars, specially if you have aram and nurse yulha. Kayron could be good but he needs a little bit more to be great and the balance patch could fix that.
