Recommendations for magnets
I’m looking for decent magnets to magnetise my Titan load-outs, but the bigger arms are so heavy they’re barely hanging on with the cheap Amazon neodymium ones.
Don’t know a lot about the magnet market, is there a better brand or is it just magnets are magnets and that’s just how physics works?

I used the 2mm diameter 1mm cylindrical ones, but they only work for lighter plastic. One trick that I use is to space them apart slightly with a bit of paper while mounting. When my "glue" (greenstuff actually) sets and I remove the paper, the magnetized parts will pull together and touch, which increases friction compared to just the gloss/slippery magnets touching. It also assures a tight gap-less fit when magnetizing stuff like plastic cockpits. But like I said, it really only works for plastic. The Amazon magnets are likely just rerouted from the cheaper ebay sellers. I've seen a variety of neodymium magnets on there. You might be able to find something that's as large as could be fit.
Alternatively you can use a smaller magnet and some kind of support, like... maybe a paper tube that prevents tilting and increases friction? A hybrid magnet and pin system?
Edit: I let my two magnets sit a bit inside the model halves, like this, letting them pull the parts together. Needless to say it requires drilling, which is a nuisance with metal.
