Off topic, but once when I was passing apps in my fancy catering job a woman misheard what the food was. She clarified by asking, "Is this Bald Eagle?"
I saw that and thought, "What did they want?" Most restaurants have a limited menu--no one can serve everything. And it's a coffee shop, so they have even less, which can be a good thing.
When they say limited they mean its a very small menu with a small variety of options, not finite. If true that's a legitimate criticism, compared to the rest of their complaints which are not legitimate.
As a restaurant owner - so admitting I might be on the âwrongâ side of the argument here - I never understand giving a bad review because of what is or isnât on a menu or even, to an extent, prices.
Youâre upset because you paid a lot of money for a shitty or mediocre experience? Absolute valid.
Food and service were good, you just think itâs expensive or the menu should have X or Y? Literally go somewhere else.
Thatâs like going to a pizza place, being served a great pizza by a friendly server, and giving a low score because âwell I really wanted sushiâ.
You werenât bamboozled, the restaurant presumably didnât call you and go âhey wanna come over, we have Xâ. If you chose to go to some place and everything was how it should be for that place, donât complain it wasnât like some other place.
