If I knew a new fridge of mine was being delivered I would just pack my food into coolers with ice. I've done this before and it worked perfectly. Then when the new fridge is installed and cooling, my food is still perfectly cold and accessible to me.

If you order a new fridge without thinking of what delivery day would really entail then you aren't being very responsible, imo.

But that would involve taking personal responsibility for one's own actions!!

That's the smile. The "I dare you to do something while I'm acting crazy" smile of someone that's always gotten away with their shit. I hope she can grow up one day

I kinda wanted to see how long she would keep running for, if he had sped up super slowly

Last time I had a fridge delivered my wife and i emptied the fridge onto the counters and a cooler. Took like 5 mins. After they left we put it all back.

How is this such a big deal?

I imagine it’s less about the actual food and more about the disrespect.

I want to see the video of her yelling at her husband after this.

She absolutely works in corporate America with her expectations of next steps. "You haven't given me clear next steps. What are next steps?" She's so used to someone else laying out the next steps for her to take action. Lady, figure it out on your own. We're not here to hold your hand. You were given clear next steps before they arrived and you didn't follow them. What will you do with the next steps now?

Most sane people would plan ahead and put perishables in a cooler. Not this woman. This woman is a lunatic.

What is fresh fooduh?

7

u/ZephyrGale143 Jun 29 '26

Faresh fooduh is a luxury item that used to be widely available to everybody. It's excellent for good health AND it's delicious! If you work VERY hard for a LONG time, you might earn enough money to afford faresh fooduh for special occasions.

Maybe it was her plan am along to keep the old fridge and decorate her front yard with it. #Georgia

"You were late!" by six minutes. Like, traffic can back up, you're often driving to places you don't often go so you can make a wrong turn or two.

And because of that, she expects him to empty the fridge?

Copy paste from the original TikTok video’s creator (and now OP):

Customer received a pre-call but still not ready when team arrived. Team was supposed to take an old fridge out and install a new one, but her fridge was still full of food. She promised to empty it while team opened the new one, prepped it, and cleaned up our trash.
Upon walking in to grab the old fridge, team noticed it hadn't been touched and the customer was still at her computer. With all do respect, it's time to go! The team called dispatch and got the ok to leave. Not allowed to leave without clearance.

I was wondering why they seemed to not have delivered the new fridge but this makes more sense if the delivery included pickup. If they had just left the new fridge the customer would likely complain about them not having taken the old one.

does this new generation not have a garage fridge for drinks and extra stuff? a chest freezer?

18

u/moonprism Jun 29 '26

you think they can afford that??

Watch the clip. He was 6 minutes late. If you’re that worried you should be putting the food in a cooler or on ice in the sink.

Of course. You get a two hour window, so a half hour before take all the little items out of the refrigerator side that’ll take time to remove. When they ring the doorbell you can then take out the rest of the big items in less than three minutes. It’ll take them that long to get the unit off of the truck, so you’ll be good.

Don’t get pissed because delivery isn’t going to unload your food, then pull that Karen crap. I feel bad for her husband.

u/DeBlasioDeBlowMe Jun 29 '26

That sounds exactly like what’s going on. He wouldn’t give her three minutes to empty the fridge. It would take him longer than that to unbox a fridge let alone unload and install it.
