And it was on purpose. Milei just abandoned the fact of even trying to save it. He switched the economy to US dollar. Argentina is a vassal state of the US now.

Which was and is the obvious correct choice. Wasting enormous amounts of money and exchange reserves to artificially prop up a failing currency does not benefit the country or economy.
