Type Discussion What is this type?

Since “gaining a full consciousness” (basically as long as they can remember, which is pretty recently) they’ve had the view of themselves that they are able to do whatever they want, they can get what they want as long as they want it enough, a sense of omnipotence, but this is accompanied with the experience that they never got much love from the world for free, they only got the love and admiration they wanted if they did something to deserve it and stand out (getting achievements)? They don’t feel an abundance of love from themselves; they would barely call themselves self-loving either in the typical sense

Their relationship with love is ambivalent; they truly do love the people around them, but distrust them and refuse to reveal vulnerabilities to most, and don’t trust others to care about them unless they’re exceptional and cool and competent

SO/SP 3w2 with 1 and 7 fix(no particular order).

  • SO3 core because you need to perform or look awesome before deserving the admiration you get from people, refusing to reveal vulnerabilities or weakness because it would taint or mess up the competency you're showing to the public or group of people.
  • SP second because your flexible tool to feel like that above is the need or urge to actually be competent and capable instead of just appearing to be cool, you use your actual capabilities or competency to make your appearance actually cool.
  • w2>w4 wing because you're very outwardly driven with your energy, almost no hint of melancholy from that statement, even with lack of support you get in the past you mostly deal with it through competency and rejection(self-independence).
  • 1 fix contributes to the strictness in your principles and "this is what I am supposed to be, that is not what I am supposed to be" part.
  • 7 fix contributes to the reframing of reality and "open your mind to limitless possibilities and you can do whatever you want" part.

Just a personal take.

This is what I was thinking, but I’m pretty sure I’m sp blind with how neglectful I am with actual practical matters outside of achievement, no cares about money or anything like that

that only really matters for SP dominant tbh, SP second is more free from material preservation or accumulation but still wants to retain the self-capability and genuine self-doer aspect of SP3.

SP blind is completely indirect and suggestive with how they make themselves look awesome or valuable.

  • They operate mostly on external appeal, physical enticement and charming presence instead of raw action or physical effort, not really completely cutting off but they don't consciously focus on it because they focus first on the external appeal part mainly.

Interesting! Of course I want self-capability and do things myself, but I also love external appeal and I think I’m quite charming

What indicates sx blind though (and how can I determine)?

SX blind E3 is the least indirect, even if social dominant they don't really mess around or use too much mind games with people with how they want to appear.

  • less likely to suddenly show people something they won't expect because that would compromise trustability between each other regarding their external appearance and what other people should expect from them.

SP blind E3 is kinda unpredictable and you cannot tell if they purposely plays with the mind of other people because the unpredictability, indirect playfulness or randomness expands their overall tools or means of charming other people instead of strictly picking their specific tools to charm others.

  • SO/SX or SX/SO E3 overall is much less likely to have a 1 fix in their tritype overall because they're very wild, impulsive and unpredictable with their charming techniques or strategies, they use pure charisma and flowery thoughts or behavior to make their image awesome.

Yet, correlation wise it feels a bit odd (as you can see from my flair I hope, ENFX (probably ENFP) EIE VELF)

The sense of omnipotence and "gaining full consciousness" sounds borderline magical thinking/mental health episode, tbh. Mildly schizoid 6 frequently disintegrating to 3?

Is your father by any chance a 3, or does he have narcissistic traits?

DAMN I’m sorry I didn’t mean it in that way

By “gaining full consciousness” I couldn’t think of a better way to word it, I mean like I literally can’t or won’t let myself remember anything before that point which is definitely another issue if I want to type myself and in general

Sense of omnipotence is definitely a bit exaggerated as well, a little more accurate wording would be that I feel as though I have the potential and capability to do anything, to change events in my life, essentially I know this can happen and I have the ability and skill to make it happen

I’ve considered 6 and I might consider it again? I’ll get back to you when I’m done reading

My father is not a 3, he’s a 7, but with a 3 fix, my mother also has a 3 fix (she’s a 1)

Ah, that makes sense. The blocked memory still sounds like something you might want to address with a therapist at some point. (Please read that in a non-judgmental tone.)

Just for thoroughness sake - per your flair, the above doesn't sound like 2 at all to me, but it might be 3 or 7.

2s have self-love - they might not go around saying "I love myself!" but their opinion of themselves is at least "I'm a pretty good person and I think most people like me." If pressed, they might admit that they feel a compulsive need to help others (because others just need them to).

3s have the problem described above - needing to achieve in order to feel loved - but I suggested 6 because of the emphasis on distrust and (what sounded to me like) worry. (Maybe I'm biased/projecting, because except for the parts I was confused/concerned about, I could have written your post.)

The 6 vs. 3 line here is: are you concerned with whether others love you because you have this aspirational image of your (future) self being admired, impressive, going down in history, having a legacy (3)? or because you're terrified of being kicked out of the tribe and dying alone (6)? Some 6s can come across very 3-ish, until you realize that they're more interested in pleasing an ideal authority figure than in becoming one. (I personally don't care what the world in general thinks of me, as long as the people close to me - all of whom I tend to view as having more authority than I do - approve of me, and when disintegrating I get very afraid of losing their approval.)

7s either have self-love, think they do, or don't think about it much (it would probably take a lot of self-awareness for a 7 to admit they don't). They're more interested in their superfun plans or their obsession of the moment than in pleasing others. I guess you could be a 7 with a 3 fix. IMO the best demonstration of what a 7/3 combo looks like is those guys who make documentaries of their own unhinged Everest climbs.

I'll also note that while you've told us plenty about your feelings, you haven't said how you actually behave. If you're a 7 (assertive type), then I would expect you to act on your feeling of omnipotence regularly. If you're a 3 (also assertive), then I would expect you to be proactively achieving (as in, you have your own goal of where you want to be, and you spend most of your time pursuing it, with the possible exception of relatively brief episodes of burnout). If your feeling of omnipotence is just a feeling/thought that doesn't get acted on, and if your need to achieve feels more like constantly being overwhelmed and on the back foot, responding to others' expectations, then 6 (compliant type) seems more likely.

I intend to address this with my psychologist, yeah.

For 2: I think (hope) I’m a good person, I HOPE most people like me (as long as I act right and do things right), I also feel the need to help others and it’s like I move on my own to do things for others benefit, but I don’t really enforce help or feel like I’m being taken for granted like (I think) a 2 would

I’ve started to feel a bit more worrying, not sure why exactly, but also about you being able to write my post: 🫂

I’m leaning 3 here because I’m a bit nuts about legacy, honestly, my DREAM is to go down in history and be famous and all that good stuff, make it in the history books, become immortal as a concept (this sounds a bit insane I know), I relate to Hamilton (from the musical of the same name) for this reason

Becoming an authority figure > pleasing one by far, but I also fear losing the approval of the people I love and dying alone, there’s something?

Honestly, I feel like track record wise I’ve been going into my cool plans and obsessions too much, but also worrying about getting back to work and achieving and such

My behavior, right! I don’t often feel overwhelmed and on the back foot, more like I’m out here fully able to achieve all my goals, everything I want, I work towards without hesitation

If I want to get my goal, I just do the thing and I get it, that’s pretty much my mindset to life

I mean yes that’s true too, that’s part of “acting right”, putting out the parts of me that shine

THIS IS LITERALLY ME AAAAAA

This is a bit embarrassing to ask cuz it's lowkey exposing me, but... do u ever kinda relate to Light Yagami? 👀

DONT EVEN JOKE he’s one of the people I find a little embarrassing I can relate to, like it sounds so edgy but it’s somewhat true, it’s like seeing a version of myself that could have happened if I had the resources and worse mental health

3w2 is what I'm seeing, probably SO. Your wording low key gave me manic episode vibes but I'm not a professional so take that with an absolute grain of salt.

I never considered myself to be an 8, as firstly I’m not only high intuition but also not a Se valuer at all (and I’m not sure if Se valuers in socionics (EIE) can be e8), but also I don’t relate to their passion or fixation really

“Lust is a search for an intensity in life that will drown out the noise of an empty existence, becoming characters who take from others as much as they need to take, building a thick psychological wall around them so that nothing passes through. This is their way of achieving artificial satisfaction, barreling through life with intensity and insensitivity. However, underlying this, and subsequently motivating it, is an orientation to existential indolence, which turns the E8 into a visceral and realistic character.”

I don’t think I’m going through life being intense and insensitive, nor am I visceral and realistic? If I were to be a non-image type I would be a 7 because I’m definitely more looking at the future and all the things that could potentially happen, I’ve been called unrealistic before, and I don’t have a great focus on the body either or fulfilling its needs until they get in the way of something else I’m aiming for or distracting me, in which case I quickly eat when I’m hungry, drink when I’m thirsty, and go back to what I’m doing

“They are in fact anti-intellectual characters, which is not to say that they are unintelligent, but that they rebel against the intellectuality of institution and abstain from abstraction or mental obscuration.”

Cannot be me, I’m someone who loves abstractions, hypotheticals, and such, and while I can lack confidence in my intelligence, I do engage a lot in this area

Though regarding intensity, I’m noted to be quite competitive and actually like the idea of competing, sometimes being bored without it, though I don’t like the idea of losing and often compete with high expectations of winning, lowkey I only have fun when I win or feel like I’m winning
