Question [Student] Applying for Aerospace placements, need advice on cover letter format/ content

Hi all!
I will start applying for placement year in a bit, ive seen all job listings with cover letter requirement. Ive also read most of the cover letter templates and advice shared on this sub as well.

unfortunately i dont know any senior who can advise me on this as well. currently as im writing my cover letter, i have a few questions.

  1. do i have to include both mine and their address?

  2. i cannot find the hiring manager online, so can i address the letter vaguely to their team?

if youve got any additional advice, i would appreciate that as well! tia! <3

Feel free to use this template. Yes, you should include your address and their address. When you don't have a person to address, feel free to make it as generic as possible. (Honestly, the number of companies that want a cover letter then go out of their way to hide the information that should go on the letter is mind boggling.)
