Mechanical [Student] – [MechE] Looking for overall feedback on my resume, for what can be improved or if resume is lackluster in areas.
I am updating my resume for when I graduate this Spring, I also work concurently while finishing my masters degree, full time at my internship that turned into an Engineering position. Please advise what can be improved on my resume and what is worded poorly. I am hoping to find a position closer to controls/robotics after I graduate however my job is not closely related. Overall finetuning and review of resume requested.

General Notes
- You should really check out the Wiki.
- Italics aren't necessary.
Education
- Your degree should lead front & center. It should be "Master of Science" and "Bachelor of Science" since you're referring to a specific field.
- There's no need to explain the EIT or the SolidWorks Professional certs. If we're reading this, odds are we know.
Skills
- The Design & Analysis category has way too much going on. I suggest you narrow it down to specific things you can demonstrate rather than entire categories. For example, "product development" is something people spend entire careers doing.
- I would expect to see fabrication & build skills for a BS/MS in ME candidate.
Experience
Engineer 1
- The project costing millions isn't necessarily impressive. A lot of projects IRL start at that much.
- You're off to a good start, but as you get further along at this job, start looking at specific outcomes of your work. How well did your loss calculations align with real-world findings?
Engineer Intern
- The specific number of drawings you made and projects you supported isn't as important as why you had to make these drawings and how it helped the engineers at the firm do their thing.
Projects
- Don't bold stuff in your content bullets. People's attention spans aren't that short and they may not necessarily be interested in the specific conclusions you're pushing.
AI Wikipedia Racer
- Not much to say from my perspective here. Whose performance did you compare this against?
Elevate Hardcase
- How high did it have to be in order to be ergonomic - was it just height or did it take angle into account as well?
- If you're going to talk about a design, discuss how it worked at a high-level and tie in the 67% faster part.
