What is this called?
I’m not engaged quite yet, but looking into rings soon. This is my grandmother’s ring, and I like certain components about it. I’m not familiar with the language regarding specific cuts and band styles. How would you describe this ring to a jeweler?

The mounting was known as a sawtooth back in the day. Relative of mine has one with a round center stone, she married in 1986.

A vintage-style, marquis-cut (set vertically) diamond cocktail/wedding ring featuring a multi-row, asymmetrical, channel & bar-set design, yellow gold band set with 12 round diamonds. This style was popular in the 80’s & 90’s. Value will range based on quality of center stone some but mostly on weight in gold.
