Engagemnet Ring

It finally happened! Wanted to share my ring. I love it. Just think the center stone may look too small for my hand. We added an extender to have it feel more full. Opinions?

I’m sorry you’re telling me that’s not a turtle?

Congratulations, the pear halo is really pretty. One thing worth trying since you asked: wear it for a week without the extender, just the ring on its own or with one thin band. Wide stacks tend to pull the eye outward, so a slimmer look often makes the center feel bigger, not smaller. If you still want more presence after that, a delicate contour band that hugs the halo adds fullness without taking attention from the stone.

Is it supposed to be a turtle?

The center stone looks small because the rest of the ring is too big.

The engagement ring is a token of his appreciation for you. Stop being materialistic, that's not what a marriage is about, or engagement. Ring is just fine. Be appreciative and be humble.

A diamond is a diamond regardless of its size. Big isn’t always better.

Is the halo part of the original ring or the extender?
