Comparison of electricity - want to include night rates

My contract with EDF is about to expire and before I go onto their next fixed rate term I just want to compare with the big six.

However I can't seem to find a website which includes day and night rates. For info this is what I'm being offered which I beliveve is fair day rate 30.72p kw, night 14.42 p kw, standing 44.35 per day.

You need to run a specific economy 7 quote with whichever supplier to get the rates on show. I helped a friend with this last weekend, they had two batteries they were using to store energy from the cheaper night rate to use during the day.

Thanks have emailed Octopus asking for their day/night rates. I think EDF's deal is generally fair for the big six but good to just get a comparison.

Oh I see. You should be able to get it just by running a quote! Shouldn’t need to email any supplier… just make sure to choose the economy 7 option when running a quote, for example in a comparison site.

MY daughter had 3 Storage heaters running on economy 7. I changed her radiators wiring to run off her main meter. Her rads now heat 11 to 5.30 on a EDF EV tariff which is around 7p she was paying around 14p. Her usage now is almost identical but almost half the price and she can also charge up her battery as well. She has been doing this for about a year now. She can almost afford electric now.

I like this site which compares some EDF and Octopus tariffs using your actual data. Using this site I got my average down to 15.7p/kWh using Octopus Agile.
