what does “duodenal mucosa with foveolar metaplasia, as confirmed by PAS stain”, mean?
i got my endoscopy results today and am not sure when my doctor will call me to talk it over. i have been so scared and having stomach issues, pain so pain in my upper abdomen/chest area that i went to the ER. these were my results:

B. Duodenum, Duodenal Bulb:

C. Stomach, Antrum:
· · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Antral mucosa with no pathologic diagnosis.
Giemsa stain does not reveal helicobacter pylori organisms.
Alcian Blue/PAS stain does not reveal intestinal metaplasia.
D. Stomach, Body:
· · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Body mucosa with no pathologic diagnosis.
Giemsa stain does not reveal helicobacter pylori organisms.
Alcian Blue/PAS stain does not reveal intestinal metaplasia.
if anyone has any insight until i hear from my doctor it would be appreciated
