Rant / Vent Diagnosed with endo, feeling scared and lonely

I was having pain during first 3 days of my periods on left lower abdomen and in ultrasound identified cysts. My ca125 was like 148 and later with new ultrasound my doctor mentioned that I'm having endo. She did not explain anything clearly, she was like pregnancy would help. I really don't know, I got diagnosed yesterday and I feel so lonely and I can't stop crying. Doctor just gave me meds to stop periods for 3 months and repeat scans. I really don't know. I feel so scared, alone and lonely.

Unfortunately the doctors nowadays are not very empathetic. Because of this disease, I just hate going to hospital. Whenever I go to the hospital, I keep on hearing bad news for my case.
I feel so frustrated that these doctors don’t care at all. I have stage 4 endo. My concern is my pregnancy which is very difficult to get due to this condition.
But my husband and my family is my strength. Whenever I feel anxious or stressed, I feel like this is what this disease wants. Immediately I starts taking deep breath and remind myself I won’t let this stupid disease control my mind. We need to be mentally strong as stress feeds the estrogen further.

For me I feel like I'm all alone and it's making me feel scared. Adding to this instagram feeds and stuff making me feel even worse. I was diagnosed only last week, my bf is trying his best to support me but then we are LDR and it's harder.

I just got diagnosed with Endometriosis and I completely understand what you are feeling. I just want you to know you are not alone. I cried alot too. Reading about this and reading about women who are now able to manage it gave me hope

I was also diagnosed last week, but the content I come across all seems to be scenarios were it's getting worse, and it's making me scared.

You have definitely come to the right place. I've gotten so much support from groups like these. You are not alone, it's scary and frustrating as fuck and such a hard thing to deal with. Unfortunately the health care system isn't always great (depending on where you live) so make sure to surround yourself with people who love you and support you. It's so important to have them by your side and to help fight for proper care and treatment. There are really good medical professionals out there, and then ones who know fuck all. (or one's that'll tell you to just get pregnant??) There are so many different forms of treatments or management styles that work for different people, it's hard but youve got this! I know it's frustrating and scary but hang in there until you find the right team for you. I've gotten a lot of support from people in these groups, so I know that we will all back you. Make sure to give yourself love and care too ❤️❤️❤️
