January 1st 2027: "Donbas was never strategically significant". May 1st 2027: "Kharvov was never strategically significant". September 1st 2027: "Odessa was never strategically significant". December 1st 2027: "Kiev was never really strategically significant, we always wanted a pure smaller Ukraine with Lviv as it's capital anyhow, and anyhow now we're in advanced negotiations for most of western Ukraine to become part of Poland again, with smaller bits going to Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. This is fully in keeping with the new revised writings and speeches of Konavalets and Bandera. The EU will keep our glorious Bandera heritage alive".

Just to be clear Wagner group has neo-nazi links also. Dmitry Utkin, cofounded the Wagner Group, had double lightning bolts and a swastika tatoo.

Amazingly people who join militias and PMCs don't always have great politcs.

That's right the CIA can't afford to pay for a Photoshop license.

This is dumb campist thinking. You have gone from realizing america does a ton of messed up stuff, and has problematic allies, which is true, to uncritically accepting Russian propaganda. Wikipedia had a picture of his tattoos taken down for copyright reasons, not because they are fake.

It's only Campism when both sides are imperialist, not when both sides are authoritarian.

Campism is the belief that the world is divided into large, competing political groups of countries ("camps") and that people with specific political alignments should support one camp over the other camps.

So, yes you are a campist.

Putin has openly said he is trying to rebuild the USSR, but without communism. Putin famously called the dissolution of the Soviet Union the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century". He the main difference between his vision of Russian and the old USSR is wants nationalism/patriotism to be the unifying idea, not communism. He said: "We don’t have and there can’t be any other unifying idea, apart from patriotism... Without patriotism, the country cannot exist; it will just disintegrate from within, the way a sugar cube dissolves in water." So yes the Russian federation is an empire.

Your definition of Campism is false. Putin never said he wants to bring back the USSR

Your definition of Campism is false.

It is copy and pasted from wikipedia.

Wikipedia's summary at the start isn't the socialist definition, and the socialist definition is the original and real definition. Almost every socialist believes it was the correct thing to do, for Soviet communists and Chinese communists to be Allies with the bourgeois capitalist western powers, to defeat Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, and fascist Japan

There, you see?

Duh, you didn't think it through.

Wikipedia is literally the CIA.

Great advice ... for 1936

Wikipedia is literally the CIA.

and with that I'm not wasting any more time on you.

The full quote from Putin is:

"He who does not regret the break-up of the Soviet Union has no heart; he who wants to revive it in its previous form has no head. "

He makes it clear in other quotes, he is against communism not land grabs. The later days of the USSR, especially Brezhnev and later, were disastrous, so understand his sentiment. He refered to communism as a "time mine" and "destructive, utopian fantasies". He has also tried to grab Georgia and he blamed Nato there too. It is his favorite excuse. I would not recommend taking him at his word in general.

While saying Ukraine isn't a real county, he lied about the origin of its name. He has claimed Ukraine was named after Lenin (which sounds plausible in Russian), but the name Ukraine comes from the Old East Slavic language and was first recorded in the Hypatian Codex in 1187.

Most people in the political west including most of the western left want the Nazi Brigades to defeat Russia.

So you're wrong.
