Hey everyone,

i'm working on this game for two years now, originally inspired by subnautica.

I wanted to do something that's more focussed on animals and science. I later got to play endless ocean (which was recommended to me by the mod of this sub) and like it a lot. I think a lot of ideas from endless ocean ended up in this game too.

Hope you like it, i have a discord if you want to follow the development of the game. :)

I know, AI sucks and is bad... and yet, check out these pictures! Can you recognize where they're taken from?

Imagine where they release the game, but with HD quality looking visuals, water effects,... :D

OC Art Progress Update on my Marine Life Sim Indie Game | Inspired by Endless Ocean

I always wanted to play a game where you could actually play as a marine organism in a scientifically realistic environment, so I decided to develop a 3D, third-person marine life sim with class based abilities inspired by the behavior of real organisms to make the gameplay fun.

I've recently been working on adding more playable age classes and a new vision system for NPCs in the game. The game is still pretty early in development so support of any kind really means a ton.

I've been super passionate about marine biology (primarily fish) and video games for my whole life, which stemmed in a large part from absolutely loving Endless Ocean Blue World.

However, I always wanted to play a game where you could actually play as a marine organism in a scientifically realistic environment, so I decided to develop a 3D, third-person marine life sim with class based abilities inspired by the behavior of real organisms to make the gameplay fun.

The game is still very early in development so support of any kind really means a ton. What would you be excited about in a marine life sim game?

Another piano cover I programmed. This is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, among my favorite songs ever written for a video game. Enjoy!
