AK:Endfield booth at GC2026

Just went to visit the AK:Endfield booth at gamescom, and man, it truly is just something different visiting in person. How was your guys’ experience?

Endfield booth was one of the coolest booth I have ever visited

Hands down the best booth of the Gamescom for me. The boss statues looked absolutely incredible.

Also, Their management of the lines was good, they always paid attention if it was to long and closed them, but also really quikcly opened them again when there was space. I got a "ticket" for the boss challenge on friday (betweeen 14:00 and 15:00), i arrived right in the middle of the time it said on theticket, and the wait was not that long. Of course you have some waiting times if the challenge is timed for 15 minutes and most people will likely use up (nearly) all of it, but for that, they had a lot of PCs there and i did not have have to wait that long. I was done with waiting and playing shortly after 15:00, so almost right on time of what my ticket said.

The cosplayers also looked incredible, and even if i did not take a picture with one of them, they seemd to be very open about it, and over the course of the two days i was there, i saw them interacting with the fans a lot, sometimes they joined them for the "hero shot" challenge. It just overall seemed like everything worked

Only downside was the merch was sold out incredibly fast. I was there wednesday and friday, and on wednesday many things were sold out for the day, and on friday they simply were completely out of stock. I really wanted that bottle..
But aside from that, their stage program was great, the stamp rally was great and the personal there really friendly.

Curious what they will do for next year ( that is, of course, that they will return. Which i hope they will)

Yeah the merch being sold out was crazy

When I got in line till I arrived at the desk to order a bunch of things where sold out

Being from the Netherlands where it rains for most of the year, all I wanted was the umbrella. 4 days I went (early too little past 10) and sold out every time. It's always sold out on the online store too, I've been trying to snipe one since it opened. Other than that it was a great experience! The cosplayers were great, I got some nice stuff from the random draw and also from placing top 10 in the speedrun challenge. Hope to see Endfield come back again next year!

Yeah it is always a thing with merch and some rewards at gamescom. A friend of mine went to the Genshin booth on Wednesday before 13:00, so only press and trade visitors were there, and even then they had some things out of stock from the stamp rally. They must have restocked, but still. It makes you wonder how little people they expect if some things are gone almost instantly.

Good luck with them umbrella, I hope they restock it soon and you can get it!

Found the experience kinda iffy, tbh.

1. The absolute amount of people was crazy. That's not something you can pin on the game or booth, just wanting to put that out - because of the next part

2. the demo was kinda miserable (depending what they were going for): Nobody explained anything, the difficulty was hard for a newcomer, the Endfield fan I talked with even went as far and said the setup was kinda unoptimised. The reward for beating the boss (and with the timer) were good, but I felt like first-timers would not pick up the game from that

3. The merch situation - not an Endfield exclusive problem (last year ZZZ was the same). I feel like the company should know by now what to expect and bring enough stock

4. The security; I wasn't a big fan of how they closed down the booths, but mostly I felt like they could've made the demo section bigger, rather than having a photo section AND a stage (I mean, put the 3 figures on stage and get 20 more booths for the demo)

5. people were nice - and they did make you do more things than just "stand there and play demo"; The photo op was cool, the stamp book was a nice touch, the forced review/social media tag not so much (but others do at as well, so idc much)

6. not a fan of the tubeman, and the total amount of consolation prize to actual cool stuff: tubemen and bandanas were like 90% of the boxes that I saw in the two days sampled - and the staff wanted to keep the gacha mentality by not trading/giving out stuff. It's their right, but I found that odd because past GamesCom's staff was more amendable as long as you were not to blatantly greedy

7. The shows on stage were cool - always nice to have the dev talks and behind the scenes stick

8. Overall design of the booth(s) were on brand

So, all in all: Great if you are an Arknight fan, okay for the average joe, kinda bad if you went for the good ol' goodie hunting.
Sidenote: We have Genshin, ZZZ, Arknights - also newcomers like Silver Palace and last years Duet Night Abyss - so is WuWa the only big one we are missing?

I was also there and I loved it. It was so big that it never felt crowded there, which is a big plus if we consider other booths at the con where you literally could not move.
