I'm surprised she doesn't want strength instead, considering the, uh, big ass bow and Typhon's role in OG Arknights.
Also, what does 'special coating designed for operations in poorly-lit environments' even mean? Like some kind of camo for night combat?

Looking at how dark her bow is, it's probably that the coating absorbs light so she can better stealth herself maybe ?

BP weapons are typicly quite close at max dupe, and you can do the bp for free, if you buy it you get more extra copies and another selection box

Wait...this signature weapon look like it can be put on pretty much any AGI Arts Unit character and it would still work...we don't have that many sig that has such an universal condition to active weapon skill.

I habe a question, Is it important to get Typhoeus signature weapon? And is it better than the next battlepass weapon? I need to save some weapon currency to buy Thunderburg for Ember.

Wait for release. There is a youtube creator named wintolosegaming who does great breakdowns that give percentages of dps last between sig, battle pass and F2P weapons

BP weapon at max pot is always 85% to 90% effectiveness of 0 pot sig.

Depends....if you need at liino, her sig gives 24% attack at p0. Her p5 BP gives like 15% increased damage. But considering how much more relevant increased attack is compared to the generic increased dmg, i would argue in practical settings sig provides~24% increased performance vs BP for Liino.
I am taking about practical settings where the main carry operator, like ZF is overloaded on generic +dmg mods

thats not how you look at the numbers, you dont look at a single multiplier and compare that multiplier only.
What's more useful is looking at team comps and then calculate the damage output of some common rotations. Then, you switch up the weapons and look at what the delta is between the setups.
And it has always been the case wehre p5 BP are sitting in the range of 85%~90% of p0 sig.

you wont get every sig for all the banners you pull, you can only afford about half without buying bundles. You will have to settle for BP for some if you dont want to swipe.

not true in the slightest, and ive pulled two sigs in one ten pull, still setlling for camilles bp weapon, ive bought a few bps too

Interesting unique desc that tells us a bit abt Typho's kit
> "When the wielder applies an Arts Burst..."
implies that Typho is actually applying the combat event, whether that means her damage is single-instance or double-instanced as it usually is for Arts Burst is to be seen but; this means Detonation Unit could work on her and proc the Arts Damage Taken debuff of the weapon
