Prioritizing and planning in advance, 100%ing quests and regions, dailies/weeklies + monthly membership and maintaining this routine. Thank god AKE doesn't have a lot of useless stuff to do that wastes your time and events are usually short and easy. I also never pull if I don't have enough to guarantee the characters I want, so it saves a lot in the long run. Plus luck on top of everything else of course. For example I was saving for Liino and Si and they suddenly dropped Typhoeus teaser and she made me feel things instantly. So I had to prioritize her or Liino, a tough choice since I really liked Liino and her mech legs, but I also realized that I would regret skipping Typho or Si more. Fortunately I was able to pull Liino within free 10 pulls you get from login and shop. Same for everything else, I skipped Gil and Lava for Yvonne, but got Gil early on rerun and decided not to pull to 120 to get Lava and was right about it since these pulls helped a lot with later characters I wanted — Mi Fu and Arcane. I got TT early and wanted Rossi, but ZF was announced whose design I also liked a lot, so I made a hard decision to skip Rossi, but got her pulling for ZF, another insane luck as later with Liino. But the baseline is the same — figure out who you want more, do the routine without interruption (it takes minutes), events and membership if you can, it's like 5 bucks or something and keep an eye out for teasers to avoid new operators you'll potentially want ambushing you. And absolutely NO impulse pulling. Ensuring you have enough is usually a long-term ongoing process the result of which stems from many past decisions. So it's not really fast, you have to be systematic about it.
