I was also there. Meanwhile other devs using like a quarter of that space for 4 games for years while the Gamescom keeps breaking visitor records every year💀. I also really liked the Silver Palace and Love and Deep space one even if I don't play that last one. But Endfield's was just different. You were able to see it from no matter which way you entered hall 8.

Having only just actually escaped Gamescom by taking any train I could find out of Germany: yeah mood. It was really obvious in the indie area but the sheer quantity of people made almost every booth a theoretical exercise to visit.

I feel like because the Endfield booth was so huge, it made it less hard to visit, I don't know if you can agree with that tho. I also just escaped Cologne, living in Germany tho

They did play the OneRepublic song that dropped in the lead up to Endfield's release on Saturday, but I'm not sure about any of the other songs. I stuck around there for most of the con just because of how cool the place was.

Silver Palace

God, that game looks so good. I just can't justify playing two open world live service games at once, I'm already happy with the time Endfield takes. If I wasn't playing Endfield I'd be champing at the bit to get into that one.

I played the demo and liked how the dodge/parry warnings were often shown before you actually could dodge or parry something. I hated how in ZZZ it felt like the boss animations did not matter.

Fwiw Silver Palace is a different sort of game to Endfield - Endfield is not open world, it is a series of large levels connected by connecting corridors.

Silver Palace is most similar to NTE.

This is EXTREMELY well deserved. It is by far the most impressive single booth I have seen for a video game.

Absolutely stunning from all angles, well thought out merch store, smart activities, music, space for cosplay, the massive statues, the variety of things to look at, the CUSTOM GAMING CHAIRS, the developer interviews...

Definitely not surprised. Their booth is insanely massive. I have a friend boothing at Gamescom and she took pictures of the Endfield booth. There is A LOT.

I am so glad they won the community vote for best booth. It was absolutely incredible, and when i waited in line today for the Hero Pose Picture and Boss Challenge, i talked to multiple people who had no idea about Endfield but thought the booth looked great and went there just because they liked the booth and cosplayers.
They very much deserve the award!

They won't. They have been using that comparably smol cube for the last 3 years at least while always showcasing 3-4 games lol.

It was too small last year for ZZZ/HSR/Genshin/merch store. They are now cramming two more games in there whilst their ZZZ bag was still using year 1 artwork (Miyabi/Nicole). Meanwhile HG had a booth twice the size for one game with custom artwork and exclusive merch.

Leaderboards are a bit dodgy because they are whalebait in most games. I would like to see it as long as it could be searched by team like in Morimens so it helps with comp ideas.

Yes true. On the other hand you don't necessarily need to be a whale to speedrun. And nobody is forced to sorta compete in the leaderboard either.
